Silicone rubber is an organic polymer elastomer with excellent gas permeability,optical properties,biocompatibility,insulation,high temperature resistance and mechanical property.So it has a wide range of applications in various fields.However,as the hydrophobicity of silicone rubber usually causes side effects such as protein adsorption,bacterial adhesion and thrombus when it's applied in the fields of contact lenses,wearable sensors and medical catheters.The application of silicone rubber have their limitation.Its hydrophilic modification is an effective program to solve a series of problems.In this paper,the properties of silicon hydrogel and dealcoholized silicone rubber are explored from the research of silicone rubber body and surface hydrophilic modification.The specific work contents are as follows:Firstly,the silicone rubber is carried out bulk grafting hydrophilic modification.The hydrophilic amino silicone oil OFX-7700 modified by polyether and the hydroxy silicone oil OFX-3667 modified with polyether are used as raw materials,and they are respectively reacted with glycidyl methacrylate(GMA)and 2-isocyanatoethyl acrylate(IEA).Four kinds of modified silicone oils with double bonds are prepared by reaction.Meanwhile,the four kinds of silicone hydrogel are manufactured by copolymerization of modified silicone oils,hydrophilic monomers and silicone monomers.The test results show that the silicone hydrogel has fine mechanical properties,light transmittance and hydrophilia,all of which improved the hydrophilia of the silicone rubber on the ontology.It is a very effective method for bulk modification.Secondly,the two-component dealcoholized silicone rubber is prepared by dealcohol condensation reaction.The hydroxy polydimethylsiloxane and silane coupling agent are used as raw materials to investigate the effects of molecular weight of hydroxy silicone oil,types of crosslinking agent,reaction temperature,catalyst and functional group molar ratio on the properties of dealcoholized silicone rubber.It is found that the dealcoholized silicone rubber has excellent performance in all aspects when the hydroxy silicone oil PMX-0156 and vinyltriethoxysilane are prepared,the functional group molar ratio is 1:1,the reaction temperature is 50 ?,the catalyst is organic hydrazine,and the dosage is 0.5%,the reaction time is 12 h.At the same time,the unsaturated double bonds in the dealcoholized silicone rubber system are obtained by this method provide various possibilities for subsequent modification research.Finally,by surface grafting modification method,the prepared dealcoholized silicone rubber with double bonds on the surface is immersed in an ethanol-modified solution containing an initiator and a hydrophilic monomer,and the monomer is grafted to the surface of the dealcoholized silicone rubber with the ultraviolet initiator.By comparing the hydrophilic monomer and the hydrophilic modification solution mass fraction on the hydrophilic modification of the silicone rubber surface,the experimental result shows that the silicone rubber selected a functional group molar ratio of 1:1,the hydrophilic monomer is NVP,the mass fraction of the hydrophilic modification solution is 30%.The surface contact angle of the silicone rubber is reduced from 107° to 61°,which indicates that the surface hydrophilicity has a great improvement.Meanwhile,the light transmittance and hydrophilic stability after modification are also excelent.
