| Butyl propionate is a kind of high performance organic solvent,and the important material for organic synthesis,butyl propionate have larger industrial application value and wide prospect of market,but the domestic production technology of propionic acid butyl ester is intermittent or half-continuous,the existing equipment have high energy consumption,low purity,low production efficiency and waste material..Therefore,the synthesis of BuOPr with high conversion rate,good selectivity,high production efficiency,low production energy consumption is introduced in this paper.In this paper,the macroscopic kinetics of synthesis reaction of propionic acid and butanol esterification was studied with strong acid cation exchange resin as catalyst.The kinetic parameters of the reaction were determined by experiments,and the reaction kinetics equation of BuOPr under certain experimental conditions was obtained.Reaction kinetics equation and balance mathematical model for process is simulated optimization,simulation calculation:catalytic rectification tower plate series for the 21 stages,rectifying plate for 6 stages,the reaction period for 10 stages,stripping section number for 5 stages.Propionic acid is fed on the 6th,butanol is fed on the 16 th,and the ester phase is reflux in the 1st.Under the optimized parameter condition,the process was simulated again,the concentration of BuOPr in bottom was99.99 %,and the content of propionic acid was negligible.We set up a small test experiment tower,and the synthesis of BuOPr was synthesized by continuous catalytic distillation.The experimental results showed that the experimental value was in good agreement with the simulated value,and the reliability of the process was verified. |
