Research On Attracting Chinese Investment In Kazakhstan's Oil Companies

Foreign direct investment in a country plays a crucial role in international trade by transferring foreign high and new technology and advanced management experience,deepening reform and innovation on the basis of abundant human resources,improving the level of domestic production technology,and promoting the mutual cooperation and common development between foreign investors and the country.Attracting and making effective use of foreign investment in Kazakhstan is a top priority in its economic development and one of the foundations for mutually beneficial economic cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.In recent years,China's direct investment in Kazakhstan has made rapid development,which plays an important role in promoting Kazakhstan's economy.Kazakhstan is rich in natural resources.From the perspective of resources and industrial structure,China and Kazakhstan are highly complementary,so China's direct investment in Kazakhstan has a broad prospect.From a corporate investment perspective,Chinese companies have invested mainly in oil and energy,mainly through acquisitions and equity stakes.This paper analyzes the status quo of kazakh oil companies and the impact of Chinese investment on Kazakhstan.After studying the scale of investment and the status quo of kazakh oil company,the problems of sino-kazakh investment cooperation are explored.Through research,this paper argues that Kazakhstan should strengthen its role in promoting fdi,especially in areas requiring large amounts of capital and technology,and improve the investment environment and legislation.For China,it is crucial to increase foreign investment,expand investment paths and choose investment fields.At the same time,the paper finds that Kazakhstan's oil sector still has some outstanding problems in the rational utilization of national oil resources and the improvement of capital investment efficiency.By studying the scope of China's investment in kazakhstan's oil companies,the participants of the investment activities and the investment objects,the problems and deficiencies in the cooperation between the two countries' investment systems are revealed,and the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions to solve the problems are put forward based on the discussion of the problems.
