Assembly is an indispensable part in the design process of complex products,such as aerospace,aviation,automobile,weapon and other mechanical products.The assembly results directly affect the performance,quality and life of these products.With the development of 3D CAD technology and virtual assembly technology,assembly process design in 3D environment has become a research trend.Based on the digital product model,3D digital assembly process design and simulation aim at the optimization and design of product assembly process planning.This paper researched 3D assembly process design and simulation technology for complex products,with consideration of the inverse process of spacecraft disassembly sequence planning problem.A software system was developed based on Delmia,and the research results were validated by an engineering example.The main research work of this paper is summarized as follows.(1)The domestic and foreign research of 3D assembly process information model,3D assembly process design and simulation and the reverse process of disassembly sequence planning technology were reviewed.The problems of the existing research methods were summarized,and the purpose and significance of the research were pointed out.(2)The structure of the 3D assembly process data was analyzed.A hierarchical time-object oriented Petri network assembly information model was proposed,and its overall framework was described.Different levels of object-oriented subnet model of Petri net were established,and the modeling process of OHTPN model was given.(3)The overall design cycle of 3D assembly process was analyzed and the framework of 3D assembly process design and simulation technology was given.The comprehensive 3D digital assembly process simulation and optimization was realized.A 3D process browser,based on 3DXML,was designed and developed to display 3D process design data.(4)Based on the fuzzy rules of spacecraft inverse process of disassembly process,the evaluation system of the inverse process project was built.The inverse process disassembly model based on fuzzy Petri net was put forward.According to the inverse process fuzzy reasoning algorithm,the optimum disassembly sequence was inferred,and the 3D process design and simulation of inverse disassembly process was finally realized in 3D visualization scene.(5)Based on the above theory of this paper,the 3D assembly process design and simulation system was designed and developed,which was based on Delmia.And then the system structure,function module and realization method were also introduced.Combined with examples,the proposed method and technology were verified.(6)Finally,the whole paper was summarized,and the following development of the related research work was introduced.
