The slapper detonator is widely used in the engineering field for its high reliability and safety,environmental adaptability,instantaneousity and good synchronism.Assessing its reliability also appears to be particularly important.In this paper,taking a certain type slapper detonator as an example,reliability assessment methods were studied by the way of a combination of numerical simulation and experimental research.First,the action process of the impactor detonator is studied by means of numerical simulation.And the influence of the voltage,the length and thickness of the explosive foil on the velocity of the flyer is simulated by AUTODYN simulation software.Then,the model of the relationship between the input and output of the slapper detonator is studied by the combination of theory and experiment.Based on the electric-Gernynon model,the sensitivity of the parameters influencing the velocity of the flyer is analyzed,and the influence degree are given.The relationship between the velocity and the input currentvs?28?0.2315I0.3682is obtained by measuring the slapper velocity with PDV velocity measurement method.The critical initiation current and slapper velocity of the slapper detonator was calculated by the initiation criterion,the initiation criterion,and the design margin of the product and the reliability to detonate explosive were calculated by the up-and-down test data.Finally,a reliability evaluation method based on the double Beta prior distribution for the pyrotechnic system is proposed.The reliability results are given when the prior distribution is under the condition of uniform distribution,conjugate prior distribution,mixed Beta distribution and double Beta distribution.And the mean square error and coverage ratio of these four prior distributions are given by simulation.The results show that the Bayes reliability evaluation results based on the double Beta distribution are the most accurate and the coverage is similar to the mixed Beta prior distribution,which is closer to the confidence level than the uniform distribution and the conjugate prior distribution.
