The bevel gear transmission profile tester can measure the transmission error,vibration noise and grinding burn of the gear.When measuring transmission error and vibration noise,the influence of the instrument's own mode on the measurement results can not be neglected.In order to avoid resonance in the measurement process,it is necessary to analyze and test the modal of the instrument in order to avoid the resonance area and ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurement results.In this paper,the modal of bevel gear transmission profile tester is analyzed,and the vibration of the tester is tested under different speed and load conditions,and the transmission error of the gear is measured.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)The modal and write response of the gear transmission profile tester are simulated and analyzed.Solid Edge is used to model the structure of gear transmission profile tester,ANSYS Workbench software is used for modal analysis and harmonic response analysis.The first six modes of the instrument are obtained by finite element simulation,and the displacement harmonic response curves of the whole structure of the instrument in three directions of XYZ are obtained.(2)Designing an experimental scheme,the experimental modal analysis of the gear transmission profile tester is carried out.The piezoelectric sensor and acceleration sensor are used to collect the dynamic response data,and the experimental modal analysis is carried out by using DASP software.The first six modes of the instrument are obtained,which are basically consistent with the results of the modal analysis obtained by software simulation.(3)The vibration of the gear transmission profile tester under different working conditions was tested and analyzed.Vibration data acquisition under different working conditions is carried out,and vibration signals under different working conditions are analyzed.It is found that there is a clear relationship between vibration signals and instrument modes.The resonant frequency region which the instrument needs to avoid under working conditions is determined by modal analysis.The weak position of the dynamic characteristics of the instrument is determined by vibration experiment.(4)The transmission errors of gear transmission profile tester under different working conditions are measured and analyzed.The transmission errors of bevel gears are measured under different loads and rotating speeds,and the variation law of transmission errors with working conditions is analyzed according to the experimental results.The reasons for the variation are analyzed and the optimum test conditions for transmission errors measurement are given.
