The gear slicing technology is a new gear processing technology in the 21 st century.It has great advantages in the processing of non-penetrating,non-retracting groove and inner spiral teeth.At present,the research of gear slicing technology mainly focuses on the involute gear,which has formed a perfect design and manufacturing theory.Recently,in order to expand the application field of gear slicing technology and solve the existing problems in the processing technology of the inner arc teeth,the research on the processing technology of the internal arc slice cutter has been carried out,and the design theory of the internal arc slice cutter without theoretical edge error has been formed.However,the research on manufacturing technology of the internal arc slice cutter is still blank,which seriously hinders the promotion and application of the internal arc slice cutter.In order to solve this problem,the manufacturing technology of the internal arc slice cutter will be deeply studied in this paper.Firstly,the structure and technical requirements of the internal arc slice cutter are analyzed,and the material,shape and size of the blank are determined.On the basis,the manufacturing process planning of the internal arc slice cutter is carried out,and the manufacturing process document of the internal arc slice cutter is formed.This paper analyses the surface characteristics of the flank face of the internal arc slice cutter,and puts forward the grinding wheel round point grinding method to grind the flank face of the internal arc slice cutter.The projection method is used to plan the grinding trajectory of the flank face and the offset surface of the flank face is used as the guide surface to control the attitude of the grinding wheel.The single factor method is used to analyze the factors in projection method,the appropriate combination of parameters is determined,the interference is avoided and the requirements of grinding accuracy are realized.Taking a typical internal arc slice cutter as an example,the grinding accuracy of the internal arc slice cutter meets the technological requirements,and the processing error is controlled at about 0.005 mm.The feasibility and correctness of the technological documents and the grinding method of the flank face proposed in this paper is proved.The internal arc slice cutter obtained is tested,and the surface quality of the obtained pin gear housing is good,which is obviously beyond the quality processed by the prior art method.The measurement results show that the comprehensive precision of the pin gear housing reaches GB/T class 7.The result proves the correctness of the manufacture of the internal arc slice cutter,and at the same time verifies the high precision and high efficiency of the internal arc slice cutter in the machining of the pin gear housing.
