Objective: Based on RISP theory and taking street-vended food as an example, the current public food safety information seeking and processing are studied,in order to promote the public to actively seek scientific and reasonable food safety information and to provide countermeasures and suggestions for its systematic processing,And then to promote the public to participate in food safety risk management to provide support.Method: Questionnaire is used to carry out research, the first is to survey the basic demographic information of the respondents, including gender, ethnic group, age, marital status, educational level, permanent residence, occupation type, living situation, family per capita monthly income and engel's coefficient. The second one is mainly based on RISP theory,street-vended food, for example, investigating the public food safety information seeking and processing related issues, and include system processing, information sufficiency, perceived risk characteristics, subjective norms, perceived negative emotional response, information collecting ability, attitude towards information seven dimensions,a total of 41 items.Stratified random sampling method was used to determine the survey objects, and descriptive analysis, stratified regression analysis and mediating effect analysis were performed on the data by using SPSS19.0.Results:(1)During the survey,4200 questionnaires were issued,of which 4051 were valid, and the effective recovery rate was 96.45%.(2)In terms of information adequacy, the public does not attach much importance to the knowledge of street-vended food and related food safety.Generally speaking, the public's cognition of food safety knowledge and standard operation is at a medium level, and its cognition of standard management of qualification certification needs to be further strengthened.(3)In terms of risk judgment and perceived significance of street-vended food and related food safety information, the former is more prominent than the latter. The public has a certain degree of perception of the possibility and severity of food safety problems, but the perceived significance of risk is not strong.(4)The public's negative emotional for food safety risk information, subjective standard of information, and perceptual information collection ability are all at a medium level. The public's attitude towards food safety information is not very positive, and they don't have the strong desire to understand food safety information is not.(5)There is a significant positive correlation between information adequacy and system processing, and the public's attitude towards food safety information plays a certain role in mediating the relationship between the two.(6)Perceived risk characteristics of the public affect information adequacy through negative emotional response.(7)The perceived risk characteristics of the public will indirectly affect the systematic processing of risk information through negative emotional response and information adequacy.(8)The subjective norm of information is positively correlated with the adequacy of information and the systematic processing, and the individual's attitude towards information has a certain indirect effect on the positive relationship between the subjective norm pressure accepted by the individual and the system processing.(9)The individual's perceptual information collection ability is positively correlated with information system processing, and the relationship between the two parts will be indirectly affected by the individual's attitude towards information.Conclusions:(1)Information adequacy is the main driving force for the public to adopt the system;(2)Public attitude towards information and negative emotional response is important mediators;(3)Important people in the community is the major driving forces;(4)The media is an important channel for the public to obtain information.
