| Nylon is one of the earliest synthetic fiber to be put into use and the most versatile.It has many excellent characteristics.Higher strength,excellent wear resistance and fatigue resistance make it widely used in textile and clothing to improve the performance of clothing products.However,in the development of nylon / wool blended yarn,the enterprise found that it is difficult to guarantee the yarn quality when the nylon content in the blended yarn is greater than 30%.The most widely used polyester fiber has no such problems in the development of polyester and wool blended yarn;nylon fiber has poor color fastness to sunlight,which affects the quality of the finished clothing.Inresponse to these issues raised by enterprises,this article mainly conducted the following research:Firstly,nylon 6 / wool and polyester / wool blended re-combed tops and rovings with blending ratios of 70/30,60/40,and 50/50 were prepared.Based on the analysis of the structural properties of nylon 6 and polyester fibers,combined with the test of the fiber straightness and the simulation test of static drafting force,the reasons that affect the unevenness of the high proportion of nylon 6 and wool blended yarn are analyzed.The experimental results and analysis show that: under the same blending ratio,the fiber straightness and the drawing force of the nylon 6 / wool tops are smaller than those of the polyester / wool tops;as the blending ratio of nylon 6 fiber increases,the The fiber straightness changes little,but the drawing force is significantly reduced.The low fiber straightness and drawing force make it difficult for the fiber accelerated points to be concentrated when the nylon 6 / wool blended top is drawn,resulting in poor evenness of roving and spun yarn.Compared with polyester fiber,nylon 6 fiber has a large elongation at break,a small modulus,and a small friction coefficient difference between nylon 6 fibers and wool fibers in with-scale direction and against-scale direction is smaller,which causes the fiber straightness and drawing force of the nylon 6 / wool re-combed tops to be smaller.Secondly,using reactive dyes,nylon 6 and nylon 66 were dyed and exposed to sunlight.By Xray diffraction,infrared spectroscopy and DSC test,the influence of dyeing and sun treatment on the structural properties of nylon 6 and nylon 66 was analyzed.And the mechanism of the combination of dye and nylon 6 and nylon 66 fiber and the relationship between the fiber structure and the color fastness to sunlight was investigated.The study found that Dyeing causes the crystallinity,melting point and crystallization ability of the two nylon fibers to decrease to different degrees,and the nylon 6 fiber has a greater decrease,indicating that the dyeing has a greater impact on the structure of the nylon 6 fiber than the nylon 66;The dyeing rate is greater,and the binding effect of the dye molecule and nylon 6 fiber is stronger.The color fastness to rubbing of nylon 6 and nylon 66 is better,but the color fastness to sunlight is poor.The fiber structure test results show that after the sun treatment,the crystallinity and melting temperature of nylon 6 and nylon 66 have decreased very little,and the infrared absorption peak has not changed significantly.It is caused by the structural change of the dye in the sun.Finally,the nylon 6 wool tops were heat water washed,and heat water-washed nylon 6 / wool blended yarns and unheated water-washed nylon 6 / wool blended yarns were prepared.The structural properties of nylon 6 fiber before and after heat water washing and the structural properties and nylon 6 / wool blended yarn performance and color fastness,to explore ways to improve the evenness and color fastness to sunlight of the nylon 6 / wool blended yarn.The study found that after the heat water washing process,the crystallinity of nylon 6 fiber increased significantly,and its degree of orientation was reduced,so that its elongation at break increased,modulus and strength decreased,moisture regain increased,and specific resistance decreased;And the distribution of impurities on its surface is reduced,so that its friction coefficient is reduced.These changes in properties make the fiber straightness in the recombed tops increase,and the drawing force of the tops decrease.The larger fiber straightness of the tops and the better opening effect make the heat water-washed nylon 6 / wool re-combed tops have less additional unevenness when entering the roving process,and the unevenness of roving and spun sliver is obviously lower than that of unheated water-washed nylon 6 / wool.The hot water-washed nylon 6 / wool tops have better color fastness to rubbing and sunlight about half higher than the unheat water-washed nylon 6 / wool tops.Heat water wash process is a feasible method to improve the quality of nylon 6 / wool blended yarn. |
