Although the Gao 30 fault block has been developed for many years, there is still a large amount of remaining oil.In order to effectively exploit the remaining parts and find out the potential for implementation,it is necessary to evaluate and optimize the remaining oil potential.Based on the detailed study of the Gao 30 fault block for accumulation of reservoirs, fine division of small layers, distribution of single sand bodies and sedimentary microfacies, this paper use the results of the second interpretation of logging to construct the three-dimensional geology of the Es1Es2 reservoir in Gao 30 fault block. The residual oil distribution and control factors of each small layer are studied by numerical simulation. The remaining oil potential evaluated results show that Es1?oil layer has relatively low utilization levels. Most layers have oil saturation above 55%.The oil saturation of most regions in the2 layer of Es2 oil group is 45%.The oil layer of the main body in the 3 layer of Es2 oil group is heavily flooded and the oil saturation in most areas is below 40%.The Es1 reservoir in the eastern part of the Gao30 fault block has large horizontal variation, instability and poor connectivity.Es2 reservoir is layered output, more stable and good connectivity.According to the evaluation results, the development and technical policies were formulated and well-site deployment was carried out.It was determined that this block can be used for the development of remaining oil potential with a series of water-flooding development methods. The target well is deployed in the remaining oil enrichment zone at a certain distance from the fault block, effectively control remaining oil and eventually achieve effective development of remaining reserves.
