The development of floating liquefied natural gas production and storage device(FLNG)has become one of the most important research directions in the development of Deep Sea gas fields in the world.As the core equipment of chemical separation,the tower has always been the center of research in the related fields,but there are few studies on the application of the tower to the FLNG.It is an urgent and important research task to develop a new type of tower equipment suitable for sea condition.And the stereoscopic jet tray in plate tower has attracted researchers for its improvement and research since its excellent comprehensive performance.In this paper,the hydrodynamic performance and adaptability of two new trays are studied by air-water system using a 600 * 600 mm stainless steel tower installed on the shaking platform.The effects of hydrodynamic performance of sieve kinetic energy factor of two new type tower tray of the static state are conducted,and is obtained its operating flexibility.The influence of tilt angle,sloshing form and sloshing amplitude on pressure drop,weeping rate and entrainment of LBJ(low backmixing jet tray)and DLJ(double layer jet tray)is analyzed,and their adaptability under sea condition is evaluated.And compared with two kinds of traditional tower plates,such as bubble cover and F1 floating valve,the pressure drop of the tray,the amount of liquid leakage and the gas phase flow rate are compared under the tilted and sloshing conditions.The results show that LBJ tray and DLJ tray have lower pressure drop,less entrainment and greater operation flexibility,which are suitable for high gas-liquid ratio and high flux operation conditions in static state.The former has about 4.8 operation flexibility and 5.4 of the latter.Flat motion has little effect on the tower plate,and the distribution of pressure drop is optimized to a certain extent,and the amount of liquid leakage is slightly increased.When tilting,rolling,rolling&pitching,and even rolling&swaying coupling sloshing,the fluctuation of the plate pressure drop increases,and the leakage volume increases.The entrainment does not change much.At the same angle,the tilting and rolling&pitching coupling sloshing has the greatest influence on the hydrodynamic performance of the tray.However,compared with the bubble cap and F1 floating valve tray,the pressure drop of the two tray is only about 54%~74% of that one of the bubble tray and the F1 floating valve tray pressure drop in the experiment area.Especially in the vicinity of the best gas-liquid ratio,the leakage volume and the entrainment do not exceed the allowable upper limit.The new tray can basically work normally,but the operation flexibility will obviously decrease.In general,the anti sloshing performance of the DLJ tray is better.The study of this paper has some reference significance for the design of the plate tower on the research and design on FLNG.
