The development of CNC roll grinders needs to solve the problems of many roll shape curves,complicated grinding process,high safety and automation requirements.The traditional stand-alone control system cannot meet the cross-platform,multi-level industrial field control requirements due to the inconsistency of the communication interface and the difficulty of information exchange.Integration of roll shape design,roll grinding technology,automated communication and other technologies to develop a cross-platform,open roll grinding system is very important to meet the needs of modern workshop-level multi-machine multi-system roll grinding Meaning.This article takes the Italian POMINI roll grinder as the fuselage,the Siemens 840 Dsl CNC system as the digital motion control platform,and the computer terminal based on the Windows operating system of the general-purpose PC,develops a set of CNC roll grinder special machine system,which provides feasible for the open control management of the roll grinder The main work is as follows.Considering the requirements of rapid design and intelligent design,two design ideas were proposed for the basic roll shape and the adaptive roll shape.The basic roll shape parameters and performance indicators are analyzed to achieve rapid design in a parametric form.To cope with different application scenarios,an adaptive roll shape design method based on genetic algorithm and roll shape discretization is proposed.Combining the design ideas of these two roll shapes,the processing method of the roll shape data is determined,and the comprehensive design method of the roll shape curve is clarified.In order to realize the multi-machine collaborative control of the roll grinding process,the roll grinding process and the electromechanical structure of the POMINI roll grinder were studied.Combined with SINUMERIK NC programming grammar,the basic framework of NC code is determined and the operation logic of the main program code is designed to realize the roll grinding processing code and design the formulation method of the processing flow.Comparatively analyzes the communication forms commonly used in Siemens industrial communication.On the premise of increasing system development and crossplatformity,OPC UA is selected as the main communication technology under industrial Ethernet.Analyze the technical characteristics of OPC UA,build the OPC UA client on the external terminal,and then realize the real-time communication between the external terminal and the CNC machine tool.The roll shape design method,processing technology and communication technology are integrated to design and develop a roll grinder software linked with the CNC system.Choose a convenient development environment for cross-platform transplantation and design a program framework to improve the stability and openness of the system;based on the roll shape curve design method,design the roll shape design function to ensure the efficient and convenient roll shape design process;Through the data communication bridge built by OPC UA,the remote machine tool monitoring function is realized,and the visualization from process formulation to process monitoring is improved;with the help of database technology,the data management function is established.
