China’s rapid economic development is accompanied by energy consumption and environmental destruction.While achieving economic take-off,our rapid development has also brought severe pressure on the environment.Environmental problems have caused huge economic losses in our country.Cities are the main body and carrier of China’s economic development.Population,capital and complex industrial chain are all concentrated in cities.These production elements take cities as the carrier while building the prosperity of cities,and continue to become new growth points of urban economy.At the same time,the city also became the economic development by-product concentration output unit.Green development in China’s cities is now a top priority for the Chinese government.The realization of green development is an effective strategy for the Chinese government to deal with the current energy supply constraints,huge energy consumption and backward energy consumption technologies.In recent years,scholars have used green TFP as a new indicator to measure China’s green development level.In this paper,the total factor productivity of green cities in China is calculated,and environmental by-products are also taken into account when economic output is considered.Using the radial direction distance function model,and through the adjustment of weight matrix and the trade-off between invalid value variables,it is concluded that China’s urban green total factor productivity,the green total factor productivity at a deeper level decomposition,the city green,total factor productivity is decomposed into scale efficiency SE,TGR technology efficiency and management efficiency of PE;The intertemporal growth index of urban green total factor productivity was solved,the growth index was decomposed,and the green total factor productivity growth index was decomposed into TGC of intertemporal change of technological progress,BPC of intertemporal change along the front line and EC of intertemporal change of technical efficiency.The green total factor productivity of Chinese cities as a whole is relatively low,with an average value of 0.378,and the overall trend is increasing year by year.In China’s urban agglomeration,only the beijing-tianjin-hebei urban agglomeration and the Yangtze river delta urban agglomeration have relatively high green total factor productivity.In each city group,there are basically relatively prominent central cities.Through the exponential decomposition of green total factor productivity,it can be obtained that,among the technological progress efficiency,the city group performs best,the Yangtze river delta city group and the beijing-tianjin-hebei city group perform best,and the average technological progress efficiency is 0.639 and 0.513,respectively.Among the scale efficiency,the beibu gulf city cluster and the Yangtze river delta city cluster performed very well,with the average scale efficiency of 1.52 and 1.24.Among the management efficiency,the ham-chang urban agglomeration and the urban agglomeration of shandong and southern liaoning reached the best,with the average management efficiency of 0.376 and 0.387.The growth index of green total factor productivity was decomposed,and the average growth index of the whole urban agglomeration was around 1.1.In the inter-phase change of technological progress,the performance of beibu gulf city cluster and guanzhong lanxi city cluster is not good,which is less than 1,and the rest city cluster is higher than 1.From the perspective of innovation efficiency,the Yangtze river delta city clusters have the highest performance,and the average inter-temporal change of innovation efficiency is 1.13.From the perspective of efficiency change,the performance of Harbin urban agglomeration,central plains urban agglomeration and south liaoning urban agglomeration in shandong province is poor,less than 1.Urban development heterogeneity is divided into three aspects and twelve factors,and a comprehensive indicator of urban development heterogeneity is constructed.The global model regression was carried out by GMM estimation to explore the influence factors of urban development heterogeneity on green TFP.In terms of the heterogeneity of city size,there is an inverted n-type relationship between economic scale and green TFP,capital scale has a positive impact on green TFP,population size and green TFP have an inverted u-type relationship,and building land scale has a positive impact on green TFP.In terms of urban agglomeration heterogeneity,there is an inverted U shape between economic agglomeration and green TFP,population agglomeration has a positive impact on green TFP,capital agglomeration has a positive impact on green TFP,and secondary industry agglomeration has a negative impact on green TFP.In terms of urban structure heterogeneity,population structure has a positive impact on green TFP,the relationship between foreign capital structure and green TFP is not significant,development investment structure has a negative impact on green TFP,and the industrial structure of secondary industry has a negative impact on green TFP.Finally,through the establishment of the system dynamics model of urban development heterogeneity to green total factor productivity,starting from the causal relationship and system theory,in-depth analysis of source analysis and prediction.With the increase of fixed investment increment,GDP increment,labor force increment,real estate investment increment,administrative area growth rate,construction area growth rate and other rates,green total factor productivity will continue to increase.Among them,the marginal effect of labor force increment is greater than that of fixed investment increment.To some extent,the rate of return on fixed investment increment will be higher than that on labor increment,and if the development of different factors can be coordinated,then green total factor productivity will increase faster.
