With the continuous growth of demand for textiles for ultra wide door width industry,facing new challenges in existing weft insertion technology,because the current weft insertion speed is difficult to meet the weft insertion requirements of ultra-wide doors,the method of weft insertion is also getting more and more advanced,its weft insertion width is also continuously moving towards the demand of ultra-wide width.Judging by the differences in weft insertion currently common,weft insertion by water jet,air jet,shuttle and rapier loom,although there are relatively advanced techniques in weft insertion,can meet most of the weft insertion needs of fabrics.However,as the textile industry develops in the future,there is a great demand for textile machines that can achieve weft insertion with ultra-wide widths(for example,widths of 12 m or more).Therefore,how to realize high-speed automatic weft insertion of ultra-wide width of loom is a difficult problem that modern weaving equipment needs to solve urgently.The main contents of this article are as follows:First of all,according to the requirements of the ultra-wide width automatic loom to achieve its ultra-wide width weft insertion mechanism,at the same time combined with the process parameters of the weft insertion mechanism,an electromagnetic weft insertion method similar to the electromagnetic rail gun launch technology is proposed,construction of a motion model of a mechanism with electromagnetic emission to achieve ultra-wide door weft insertion,establish a multi-level electromagnetic launch weft insertion method with a coil-type electromagnetic railgun structure,realize the requirements of reliable and high-speed weft insertion of ultra-wide width loom.Secondly,using finite element ANSYS software,analyze the distribution of electromagnetic force and magnetic field generated by the energized spiral coil in the coil-type electromagnetic weft insertion transmitting device,in order to construct the weft insertion clamp to smoothly pass the launch track to achieve the requirements of progressive acceleration of work,specific plan design of the electromagnetic weft insertion transmitting device,complete the overall circuit function control system.Through the communication combination of PLC and touch screen,realize the weft insertion control of the miniature electromagnetic weft insertion transmitting device,it achieves the ultra-wide door width weft insertion function required by the design scheme.Finally,design and write the software program(PLC program)of the control system,man-machine interface for making electromagnetic weft insertion device.Communication combination with PLC via HMI,complete control of the entire electromagnetic launch weft insertion device circuit.At the same time,the weft insertion dynamic of the gripper(emitter)is monitored and displayed in the man-machine interface,based on the monitoring data,it can be concluded that the weft insertion requirements of the ultra-wide width automatic loom can be met.
