For the weaving of ultra wide width textile,the limitations on the principle of these weft insertion ways,which lead to weft insertion length of the flight,namely loom weft insertion flight length door width,is restricted,and is hard to reach the extra wide width(such as 6 m and above).So,for the ultra wide width automatic loom which is mainly used for weaving industrial fabrics,existing jet,water jet and rapier weft insertion,gripper way has been difficult to meet the needs of the ultra wide door of weft insertion.The electromagnetic launch technology has shown a great potential application in the industrial equipment.This paper aims at the problem of weft insertion in ultra-wide width high-speed a utomatic loom and is based on the electromagnetic force drive.Improve and innovate the exi sting principle of picking and weft insertion.Improve and innovate the existing principle of picking and weft insertion.The clip weft device motion model is established on the basis of weft insertion process requirement.Analyzes and designs the structure of the lectromagnetic launch weft insertion mechanism,the analysis and calculation model is established for the initial launch velocity,electromagnetic launch force and the weft insertion mechanism structural parameters,mainly including coil number of ampere turns,launch current,coil length etc.The research in this paper can provide a technical approach and lay a theoretical foundation for the design and development of an ultra-wide beam electromagnetic launch weft insertion mechanism.The main content of this article is as follows:(1)First of all,it analyzes the development of modern automatic weaving machines and the status quo at home and abroad,focusing on the development characteristics and prospects of rapier looms,projectile looms,and water jet looms.The key technologies involved in electromagnetic weft insertion and their current status are analyzed.(2)The structure of the electromagnetic weft insertion system was analyzed and designed.Firstly,a detailed analysis of the existing weft insertion principle is carried out,and the advantages and disadvantages of the existing weft insertion principle are compared and analyzed.It is pointed out that the existing weft insertion principle cannot satisfy the need for weft insertion of an ultra-wide web weaving machine.Then,the principle and structure of electromagnetic launch weft insertion are designed,including the working principle of the weft insertion mechanism and the structural design of the weft insertion mechanism;The structure and force of the emitter gripper were analyzed to provide the basis for subsequent simulation calculations.(3)Electromagnetic weft insertion was analyzed and designed.Including the analysis and design of the highest flying speed of the gripper,analysis of the magnetic field induction strength generated by the launch solenoid coil,the electromagnetic force of the gripper,and the acceleration of the gripper.(4)Ansys finite element software was used to model and simulate the launch of a single-stage coil gun,and the force distribution of the gripper components at different positions in the electromagnetic field and the distribution cloud of the magnetic field density of the electromagnetic field were solved.The magnetic field at different positions of the weft gripper was simulated to compare and analyze the magnetic induction and electromagnetic force at different positions.Explore the relationship between coil structure and electromagnetic parameters and electromagnetic force of the gripper in the electromagnetically driven high-speed weft insertion mode.(5)Based on the above research,the electromagnetic launch weft insertion experiment device is constructed and tested.The test results preliminarily verify the correctness of the analytical design method.(6)This article summarizes the research work of this article,analyzes the existing problems,and points out the next research direction.
