With the continuous development of China's economy,the transportation industry is also getting stronger and stronger.At present,China's railway and highway investment is constantly saturate.China has begun to focus its investment on water transportation.With the enhancement of water transportation infrastructure construction,it will definitely drive the continuous development of China's shipping market.Nowadays green development is advocated by the government,and environmental awareness of citizens is getting stronger.The navigation of ships might cause pollution to the water body,especially the pollution from the domestic sewage of ships to the surrounding water environment is receiving more attention.In September 2019,in the Outline for the Construction of a Powerful Country for Transportation issued by the Party Central Committee and the State Council,national and local pollutant control standards and ship discharge requirements were clearly stated.As a result,the treatment of domestic sewage from ships is promoted to higher and stricter levels.Focusing on pollution and protection of water environment,the source and characteristics of domestic sewage and the current status of domestic sewage treatment in ships are analyzed in this thesis.The advantages and disadvantages of traditional ship sewage treatment are explored.To address the shortcomings of existing methods,Membrane Bio-reactor(MBR)is improved.The necessity and practicability of introducing membrane biotechnology in the treatment of domestic sewage from ships is demonstrated.The inland water transportation and the pollution status of inland waterway in Jiangxi province are investigated and analyzed in this thesis.According to the characteristics of ship sewage in Ganjiang River,the membrane biological reaction equipment is used to treat ship sewage,and the treatment effect is studied.The MBR reactor has a significant effect on the treatment capacity of CODcr.The average elimination rate of CODcr in the initial stage reaches about 85%,and that of CODcr in the stable stage reaches 95%.xperimental data shows that membrane organisms can replace the secondary sedimentation tank in traditional aerobic biological treatment,which improves the removal efficiency of suspended matter as well as the quality of effluent water.The macromolecular organic matter and bacteria in the biological pond is retained and isolated by the membrane separation technology,which makes them to fully contact with sludge.As a result,this makes the discharged sewage meet the new requirements of IMO for domestic sewage discharge from ships.The research results of this thesis can provide a theoretical basis for ship wastewater treatment in inland waters of Jiangxi Province,which also provides some guidance and useful reference for domestic sewage treatment of ships in other waters in China.
