A Study On Si ZHAI's Traditional Dwelling Courtyard Culture Of Zhuji In Mid-zhejiang Province

Courtyard house is the best embodiment of Chinese traditional thought and form of residential architecture culture."Courtyard" space is an important component elements of dwelling,which contains two thousand years of China's traditional culture and life.Affected by the conditions of the different climate,topography,and ways of life,it has displayed fantastic space design idea with rich historical and cultural connotation and mature and a mature,system of courtyard space form,which reflects Chinese people's unique and traditional values about the nature of the universe and aesthetic values.However,with the growth of peoples' population and economy,the expanding of city area and the shortage of land resources;on the other hand,by the dual impact of commodity economic and commodity culture,people's cultural tradition,ideology,aesthetic habits have been subversion......Tall buildings have taken the place of courtyard,becoming the main carrier of people's life;the courtyard is declining leading to the gradual lost of traditional courtyard culture.Zhejiang province has always been an area of wealth and culture.The different forms of regional characteristics with local style tell the specific characteristics of the traditional dwellings.At the same time,with the development of society and fall of dynasties in history,the villagesin Zhejiang,however,have remained the honest folkway and effectively inherited original and ecologicallife-style and customs.Therefore the form and function of the traditional courtyard style houses can be preserved until now.This paper mainly takes a large number of existing residential buildings in Zhuji City and home village as research object,and summarize the spatial characteristics of the courtyard style houses on the base of the development and formation.Mainly in Sizhai village traditional dwelling courtyard as an example,the on-site investigation and mapping,the data collation,drawing,and analyzed,summarized;from the angle of culture,explore the comprehensive interpretation of the traditional courtyard houses and cultural development.Itmainly has two final purpose: on one hand,to drive home to people from different areas the protection consciousness on traditional dwellings,the traditional courtyard;on the other hand aiming at the lack of contemporary living space,explain how to learn from and inherited the traditional courtyard advantage and provide a summary and suggestions for further development of new residential courtyard courtyard house.
