Central Hunan Suburban Rural Residential Research Under The Background Of Rural Renaissance

The rural and the urban have the equal importance as life carriers and culture units.At the primary stage of urbanization,there exists obvious urban-rural dual structure and the urban has become a threat to the rural development.At the middle stage of urbanization,the problem of inadequate food and clothing in the countryside has been completely solved,and some places of the countryside have got into a well-off society,and the rural and the urban are planed to develop as a whole,and the rural culture has began a linear pursuit after the urban.The rural culture,life and architecture blindly peruse the urban,a nd the countryside gradually loses its own characteristics.At the later stage of urban development(50% of urbanization),people have got into an overall well-off society.People began to focus on the quality and the characteristics during the urbanization and the urban development.The countryside get into the development stage of Renaissance and the countryside construction goes back to its source.Yiyang City is located in the central part of Hunan Province.Its social and economic development are both at the medium level in Hunan and China.But its suburban Qingxi Village has entered the stage of overall well-off society and has begun overall renaissance.The renaissance features of Qingxi village are typical in Hunan province and even in China.This thesis chooses Qingxi Village as the case for the study of Suburban rural residential design under the background of Rural Renaissance.Based on large amount of research achievement by the other researchers,with site survey,questionnaire,interview and etc,through generalization and summarization,a systematic study has been carried out of the response towards suburban rural residential design by Rural Renaissance,and the response path of residential design has also been put forward.This research argues that:(1)The residential consumption demand has been driven by the improvement of rural living standards.The living space has been expanded,the functional space has changed,and the level of living environment has been improved;(2)The change of rural industry characteristics affects the housing construction.The traditional manual mill,feeding,and storage space of production means have been shrunk,while rural tourism and the household service industry have been sprung up.(3)Rural neighborhood and their interactions create the activity space within and outside the residence.The regional features and blood ties of rural culture determine the contact characteristics of the first culture,which makes the internal and external activity space become an important communication place for residents.(4)the whole style of residence has been carried forward by the traditional culture.From the residential housing site selection,housing geomancy to the building’s color,form and symbol,the overall architectural style inherits the regional and traditional culture.(5)The rural ecological environment links the internal and external space of residence.Chinese traditional architectural culture advocates “Tao follows Nature”,residential buildings permeate organically and integrate mutually with rural ecological environment through gray space such as courtyards,corridors,balconies,terraces and etc.(6)The pursuit of multiple values affects the functional response of residence group.The development and utilization of natural ecology and regional culture in rural area cause the functional and spatial change of residence and its group in rural area;(7)The technology of low carbon and energy-saving promotes the design of residential green architecture.The green architecture is the cell of Green City,and the technology of low carbon and energy-saving has been expanded from urban area to rural area,thus the green architecture design has taken its steps in rural residence;(8)The living style of nature,leisure and comfort gives rise to the pastoralism in house decoration.The rural residence has integrated into the leisure pace with nature,and its decorating style turns out to be elegant and pastoral.Thus,if we want to explore the housing design response path of suburban countryside under the background of Rural Renaissance,the satisfaction of consumer demand is the precondition,the integration of ecological garden is the foundation,the inheritance of regional culture is the soul,the change of functional space is the main body,the construction of communication place is the characteristic.In the future with the deepening of the construction of ecological civilization and the expansion of information technology,the green housing and happy home will be the new trend of suburban rural residential design.
