This paper’s research background is the reinforcement and reconstruction of certain continuous rigid-frame bridge.In order to prevent the continuous down-warping and improve the force condition,the method of adding pylons and draglines to provide vertical bracing was used.The specific joint construction of stay cable and girder was as follows,adding steel joist athwartships under the girder,the joist and the girder were connected on the web by bracket and the stay cable force was passed to the girder by joist and bracket.It is difficult to construct by using this method of reinforcement and the force conditions are complex.In order to improve the technology and analyze the force mechanism,a segment was chosen to study.This paper mainly studied the design,manufacture and testing technique of the segment model.The main content is as follows:(1)The requirement of similarity,the affinity constant and three theorem were introduced.Equational analysis and dimensional method were used to deduce similarity parameter.(2)The design and manufacture of the model.The scale ratio was decided according to the research content and laboratory conditions,the material was chosen according to the scale ratio,material behavior and the research contents.The calculation of the model was made and the drawings were made.The model was made according to the drawings and the critical part was studied combined with construction site.(3)The installation of the model.The installation was as realistic as possible,the installation technology was analyzed and summarized.The model finished according to the installation technology,and the degree of reliability of the concrete box girder was calculated and some advice about design and construction were put up.(4)The arrangement of the measure points and loading scheme.The arrangement of the measure points and the way and flow path of loading were introduced in detail.
