Research And Implementation Of The Test System For Electric Locomotive Wheel Axle

Railway undertakings have constantly developed,and locomotives' speed upgrade quickly.Locomotives' quick and safe operation mainly depends on the good performance axle driving system.The testing system of the locomotives' axle driving system ensures the reliability and safety of the axle driving system.Paper basing on LabVIEW software,studies a locomotive axle driving system.The paper firstly introduces the background and significance of the locomotives' axle driving system,and leads the key technology and parameters by stating the current researchs.The paper describes the basic theories and basic structure,which are used on testing system of locomotive axle driving system including electric transmission system,transmission system and control subsystem.Also,the paper analysises the principle and protection strategy of the main converter,Principle and reliability of mechanical transmission system,the control of PWM rectifier,the control of VVVF inverter vector and the control of motors.Basing theory on the theory,the paper designs parameters of main transforme r and the converter parameter of the test system,and sets up models and does simulation by Matlab,getting well results.The hardware design and software design basing on LabVIEW get implementation on the testing system by the parameters and Matlab simulation results.Tests of axle driving system are done on the axle driving system testing platform,which are designed and implementated before.According to the pilot projects and calibration standards,the paer gets the test results,which meets the requi rements.The obtained datas about the design of testing system of locomotive axle driving system proves the accuracy and reliability.
