Research On The Design Of Urban Public Space For Children Based On Environmental Behavior Theory

Rapid urban development is profoundly changing the people’s way of life,and affects the healthy growth of children.In children’s growing environment,urban public space is of special significance to them.Ideal urban children’s public space for children’s language,intelligence,behavior and personality formation has a very important role in promoting.Urban children’s public space design and construction of the purpose is to provide children with safe,comfortable game environment.However,the city of our country of the children activity space and environment of the overall level is low,the importance and quality of construction and design can’t meet the needs of children.In this paper,based on the environmental behavior theory,research on urban children’s public space.Full text aims to highlight children’s importance in the development of urban public space,and the environmental behavior at the point of view to guide urban children’s public space design.First of all,the thesis illustrates the research background,significance and research method.Secondly,it introduces the concept of environmental behavior and related theory,this paper expounds the environmental behavior of urban children’s the meaning of public space research.Then,based on the environmental behavior of children in a public space of chengdu investigation,summarizes the current situation of urban public space in children and children’s psychological behavior in the environment.Again,from the perspective of environmental behavior,further study of children’s age characteristic,space cognition,environmental requirements and activities,and the children are analyzed in detail on the scale of space comprehensive intention.Finally,on the children’s psychological behavior and public space to the child,on the basis of comprehensive study,apply the basic theory of environmental behaviour to the design of public space,urban children come to the conclusion that children need to pay attention to the design of the key points in the design of public space.At the same time,the overall plan for the children to the urban public space,space division,plant design,landscape design and gaming facilities facilities design has carried on the deep discussion and research,tries to provide some references for urban children’s public space design.
