With the development of science and technology and the standard of material living,the quality of people's daily life has been improved.At the same time,smart home technology is produced.Smart home indicates the direction of development of household products,which combined an advanced computer technology and network communication technology with traditional home furnishings.Intelligent home control system is the core.Managed by the subsystem,smart home provides people with a smart,comfortable living environment.In this thesis,the origin of intelligent home systems were introduced,including the definition of smart home systems,and development status at home and abroad and the future development direction.In traditional smart home system,wired connections are more common.But this type of connection with a problem of wiring layout,poor system scalability and high cost,do not have a good market development.In comparison,the short-range wireless communications technology network is more flexible,easy to expand the system,and has lower cost.Therefore,wireless communication technology is becoming mainstream technology of smart home systems.This article introduced the infrared,Bluetooth,Wi-Fi,ZigBee and other types of commonly used short-range wireless communications technology,and were compared with each other.It is not difficult to find out that ZigBee technology has lower power,cheaper cost and higher capacity.So this design uses ZigBee.technology to set up a wireless family network.In this paper,we introduced the ZigBee technology and the relevant smart home system architecture,then we designed the hardware part.The hardware part consists of a peripheral functions module of the main controller,ZigBee network node and sensor hardware circuit.The main controller is the master gateway server which is based on S3C2440 chip.It interact with the outside world via an external chip card.The family network nodes use the CC2530 ZigBee chip.Connecting with the intelligent gateway server by DART serial ports,coordinator node achieved the information interaction between each ZigBee terminal node and gateway server.We completed the software development of ZigBee and of WEB server.After porting the embedded linux operating system to S3C2440 and building human-computer interaction QT graphical interface,we transplanted Web server to linux system and programed CGI to complete the entire smart home system gateway server.Then we developed software of each ZigBee coordinator node and terminal node by using TI's Z-Stack platform,set up the ZigBee wireless communication family network.Users can login the S3C2440 intelligent home control terminal system via phone or computer,and then send control commands and information queries through ZigBee sensor network nodes.The sensor device can also uploads the real-time information to the gateway server through ZigBee network.After tested:the system basically achieved the desired design requirements,and can realize the intelligent control of family information.It is simple in operation,functional,low power cost,and has a broad application prospect.
