The furnace pipes may burst due to welding, metal fatigue, corrosion.Timely monitor and give a precise positioning can maintain the safe operation of the power plant and lead the objective economic benefits. This paper studies the background noises of boiler, which contain combustion noise,Burner jet noise, turbulence noise of Horizontal flue gases scour economizer and Sootblowers noise. Then,Carry on Analytical Research to the flow equation,Spray flow characteristics and Produce mechanism about leakage signal. Finally estimate the sound power and noise spectrum rule of leakage. The paper has a key research on the Localization algorithm,Reference the mature algorithms of passive location radar technology,GPS positioning technology, the microphone positioning technology and cellular network positioning technology, choose the LS,SI,CHAN,FANG algorithms, which may be used for the environment of furnace, for analysing and improving, and use the SI algorithm to have a simulation based on the environment of cold boiler.Have a research on the conventional cross-correlation algorithm, generalized cross correlation,third-order cumulant and Ambiguity Function algorithms.Design an experiment of the plane quaternary arrays and stereo quaternary arrays under the four circumstances.Mesure the TDOA results based on the conventional cross-correlation algorithm and generalized cross correlation of PHAT.Take the experimental results into the localization algorithm, and compare to positioning, electe the optimum combination. In the experiment, use the method of coordinate transformation to collect TDOA data.Design a monitoring system and making a fundament for the future development and application.
