| This paper introduces one new manufacturing software,EASE system,for engine assembly line,and studies the CAPP module applied in engine plant and especially the problems in application.Firstly,the EASE system and function module related to CAPP are introduced,which are needed in application in company.And then the engine BOM’s basic features are analyzed,and a right CAPP product structure tree in EASE system suitable for reality of company is found.By means of analyzing the functions and data flow direction in the existing subsystem,approach to communicate between existing system and EASE is found,and the method of data exchange between existing MES system and EASE system is designed to ensure each engine in assembly line which is guided by a correct process document.Thirdly,the characteristics of engine assembly line are analyzed to assign one assembly sequence number(ABSN)for each process step to enable the EASE system to send right process document to right site.Meanwhile,process file management process in EASE system is constructed to ensure the modified process documents are assigned automatically. |
