In order to achieve real-time simulation of WTGS(Wind Turbine Generator System)to apply the simulation system in HIL(Hardware-in-the-Loop)testing of wind turbine control system,this paper proposes a design project of a simulation system for WTGS based on software and hardware of NI(National Instrument),and develops a real-time simulation experiment platform for DFIG(Doubly-Fed Induction Generator)wind turbine.The system have a hardware architecture consisting of a host computer and a PXI system.PC host computer achieves monitoring function,while the PXI System accomplishes model calculation and provides industrial IO channels.The PXI system contains PXI controller and FPGA module,the former is soft real-time and the latter is hard real-time.PXI is a 4-core CPU with real-time operation system which runs the simulation of mechanical parts and generator.FPGA module exchange data with PXI controller by PXI bus and runs the simulation of power converter which requires high speed calculation.With the hardware solution,this paper developed whole simulation software package in Labview development environmen,using NI Labview 2010 and its additional package of real-time module and FPGA module.The simulation experiment platform performs real-time simulation of main components working in WTGS,and provides the corresponding hardware input and output channels and human-computer interaction design in order to realize the input of control variable and output of state variable of the system,which makes the simulation experiment platform appropriate for the HIL(Hardware-In-Loop)testing of control logic and control algorithm and cabinet electrical system of WTGS control system products.Besides,the simulation experiment platform has advantages of good integration,good scalability,short development cycle and the convenience to realize automation testing.Finally,this paper analyzed simulation results of typical working condition and verified the correctness and availability of the simulation experiment platform.
