Study On The Selection Of Tree Species In Urban Green Space From The Participant Perspective

As the particularity of the urban environment,the participants of the urban greening were also the decision makers in the tree species selection.The initial distribution of tree structure in the urban green space was completely controlled by artificial selection.At the present stage the problems such as the tree species dominance concentration,simple structure,low ecological benefits,have been more and more prominent.The view of urban tree species selection procedure from the perspective of participants became very important,which could explore the subjective factors in tree species selection.In the study,we surveyed all kinds of participants in Hefei(including the government employee,designers,green construction enterprises,suppliers and the public).The urban tree species selection influence factors were picked out and the evaluation index system was established.The different participants were selected as tree species selection influence factors of the evaluation.Then the correlation between the participants in the evaluation was analyzed by SPSS,and the comprehensive evaluation on common tree species in the point of view of the participants was accessed by taking Hefei city as an example.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)As the difference of their own knowledge background,different participants had different views on the decision-making power of urban tree species selection.In addition to the government employee himself which thought it is designers,the other four categories of participants all believed that the government employee had the greatest decision-making power.(2)The judgments of urban tree species selection influence factors were different by the participants.The the government employee and designers both thought the most important factors were the nativity and soil adaptability;green construction enterprises thought that were the soil adaptability and plantlet cost;suppliers thought that were the shape and color of leaves and soil adaptability;the public thought that were the shape and color of leaves and flowers and fruits.(3)The evaluation data of the weights in urban tree species selection was significantly correlated between the government departments and the designers at the level of 0.01,while was significantly correlated between the government departments andthe green construction enterprises at the level of 0.05.There was no significantly correlated between other participants.(4)According to the weight of the participants,the comprehensive evaluation of common landscape tree species in Hefei city was accessed.155 tree species scored beyond 3.0 were selected out in comprehensive evaluation of the participants,including51 tree species of type I,44 tree species of type II and 60 tree species of type III.The classification provided a new idea and suggestion on the urban tree species selection.
