In order to solve the shortage of energy and reduce carbon emissions,the state has made great efforts to develop the hydropower industry.In the hydropower units,water processing quality can affect the generation efficiency of the whole unit,so in order to improve the efficiency of power generation must be strict requirements of the processing quality of water.The Pelton turbine adopts the integral structure,its advantages can be part of the mutual connection between reducing the quality,reduce the number of parts,save the parts,and the overall structure,can greatly improve the service life and safety.The bucket processing problems and challenges at present is very large,such as the inner surface curvature change and the large amount of material removal,plunge milling in the process prone to problems of tremor and collision,so that the processing efficiency of water is greatly reduced.In the process due to the bucket surface space is narrow and constrained more,should strictly control the cutting parameters in the process of planning,but also need to plan for inserting cutter path,avoid collision and interference.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First of all,to measure the bucket entity,select data points and fitting,and then based on B spline curve and surface principle and principle of NURBS curve fitting data point fairing optimization,finally create 3D model.Secondly,according to the analysis of the characteristics and difficulties of the bucket bucket manufacturing,planning of plunge milling process on the surface of the water bucket.Based on the principle of genetic algorithm,the rational cutting parameters are formulated,and the cutting parameters are optimized at the end.Again,study on plunge milling tool path planning based on the surface of the water bucket,plane cutting method,the collision detection and collision detection algorithm,making the regional scope of plunge milling,making the tool path planning strategy,at the end of the tool path is simulated by using UG software.Finally,the simulation of plunge milling surface bucket by using VERICUT software,based on the analysis of simulation results verify the feasibility of inserted plunge milling trajectory planning surface milling process planning and bucket bucket surface.
