The FSAE was introduced to China in 2009 and quickly became a very popular college student innovation practice.By 2017,more than 80 teams had participated in the event.Due to the rules of competition and the limitation of R & D cost,the FSAE engine is transformed from a small gasoline engine with 610 cc displacement.This paper is based on a HONDA CB600 F turbocharged engine with a 20 mm air restrictor to improve the dynamic performance of FSAE car.The main contents of this study include engine performance improvement and power output optimization.Firstly,I analysis the performance of Gspeed2015 engine,and put forward the goal of the engine power enhancement.The GT-POWER software is used to simulate the intake and exhaust system.The influence of different intake manifold length,different exhaust manifold structure and different exhaust manifold length on engine power is studied.According to the simulation results,the intake manifold length is 100 mm,the exhaust manifold structure is 4-2-1 form(1,4 cylinder,2,3 cylinder),and the exhaust pipe length is 400 mm.On this basis,the exhaust manifold is modeled by CATIA software and the fluid analysis of the exhaust manifold is carried out with the help of the CFD software Fluent,and the structure optimization of the exhaust manifold is realized.Secondly,after the system analysis of the demand for electric control system,a full replacement is ECU Mo Te C M800 to build an electronic control system for the engine and the whole vehicle,and the sensor and hardware circuits are rematched to realize the free adjustment of the engine control parameters.Using the rebuilt open electronic control system,the engine fuel injection MAP,ignition MAP,fuel injection pulse width compensation and advance angle compensation parameters are calibrated,which make the engine reach the maximum power output in all steady state conditions,and can modify the parameters for the environment change.Through the bench calibration,the engine is between 5000-8500r/min,the torque is above 75 N.m,and the maximum power is 71 k W at 9500 r/min.The engine power lift is realized.Finally,through the vehicle test,the optimum slip rate of the car under the condition of dry land and wetland is determined,and the traction control function based on the target slip rate is introduced,which makes the car have excellent acceleration performance and control performance,realizes the engine dynamic output optimization under the track state,and introduces the starting control function based on the target speed,making the racing car in the linear acceleration process.It can make full use of the tire adhesion and engine power to improve the acceleration performance,and achieve the optimization of engine power output in the linear acceleration process.The validity of the above functions is verified through testing,and overall,the goal of this research is achieved.
