Research On Different Stevedoring Of Containers In Sea-rail Intermodal Transportation

With the running of CHINA RAILWAY Express and "The Belt and Road"Initiative,containers intermodal transportation has taken more attention by us.As an important mode of transportation,sea-rail intermodal transportation is developing rapidly.Containers port loading and unloading organization is an important part of the container sea-rail intermodal transport system,the mode of reloading directly affect the efficiency of container sea-rail intermodal transportation.It is of great reference value to study the comparisons of reloading modes and choose a more efficient and reasonable reloading mode in container sea-rail intermodal transportation.Firstly,this paper introduces the concepts,current situation of the development and the trend of sea-rail intermodal transportation,for its disadvantages such as long operation time,large energy consumption and poor connection between rail and sea,put forward a container ROLL-ROLL operating mode by the railway ferry.Secondly this paper respectively expound this two way of containers reloading,including their operating flows and the affecting factors of the operating efficiency.Then does an introduction focus on the system architecture of railway ferry which is the carrier of RO/RO mode.Next,based on the differences between them and their respective characteristics,the evaluation index system was established by means of qualitative and quantitative combination.For quantitative indicators,establish the measurement model,and calculated by our ports actual situation;Make reasonable analysis and comparison for qualitative indexes.Finally,the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and Evidential Reasoning Approach(ERA)are used to make a general evaluation of the two modes.The results show that the two mode have both advantages and disadvantages.After the overall evaluation,it is found that in the current environment of advocating green economy in China,the RO/RO mode will be better than the traditional hoisting mode,which has a strong feasibility.The work of this paper enriched the research on the way of containers reloading in sea-rail intermodal transportation.It provides references for the development of multi-modal transport in China,the construction of "The Belt and Road" and the construction of railway ferry with other country like South Korea and Japan.
