Plain reservoir plays an important role in solving regional water shortage and uneven distribution.Seepage problem is an important factor affecting the safe operation of the plain reservoir,once seepage problem transfers to dam-break,it can not only reduce the social and economic value of the plain reservoir,but also threaten people’s life and property safety.Therefore,it is very necessary to monitor the seepage of reservoir dam body,and seepage monitoring technology based on distributed optical fiber temperature measurement system is a hot research direction in recent years.The research of the technology currently is mainly focused on the determination of fiber optic monitoring mathematics,differential equations.The dam seepage parameters and dynamic temperature quantitative coupling relationship still needs a lot of test to validate.Model test,indoor seepage monitoring reservoir seepage monitoring and field test were conducted to study the dynamic relationship between dam seepage parameters and the temperature monitored by the optical fiber sensing technology to provide the technical support to practical engineering.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Experimental study on temperature field feedback seepage field:physical model test of the temperature field feedback seepage field was carried out to verify the feasibility and reliability of the feedback seepage field of the temperature field.Indoor seepage monitoring experiment research:by indoor seepage monitoring test,verify the feasibility of fiber optic monitoring seepage rate,different working conditions,and through indoor seepage monitoring based on distributed optical fiber temperature measuring system of heating method in the experiment,establish optical fiber temperature values,and relational model,the seepage flow to verify the feasibility of the application of optical fiber for quantitative monitoring of the seepage.(2)Experimental study on seepage field monitoring in the dam body model:device simulation of dam body seepage through the laboratory experiment,using the optical fiber temperature obtained from the same relative compactness conditions change value,and relational model,the seepage flow for the seepage rate of specific,verified,and combined with numerical simulation for the optical fiber sensing technology to provide technical support in the practical engineering application.(3)The seepage monitoring technology based on distributed optical fiber temperature measurement system was used in reservoir field experiment:in order to apply the result of indoor test to Datun reservoir seepage flow field,the indoor calibration of the in-situ soil test,and later at the scene of the Datun reservoir were studied,and test the desired effect.Design in the plain reservoir seepage monitoring:Ordinary fiber distributed optical fiber and carbon fiber heating tube were both adopted to monitor the seepage of the reservoir.
