Research On The Urban Renewal Strategy Of Shenzhen For Social Justice Goals

With the advancement of urbanization,urban renewal has taken an increasingly important position in urban development.It is not only an important means to improve the physical environment,promote industrial upgrading,and tap the city's stock of land.It is also a key link in maintaining social stability and promoting sustainable urban development.However,under the conditions of a marke t economy,the complex interest relationships in urban renewal can easily make urban renewal a “market renewal” with the development of the economy as its leading goal,resulting in a series of societies including the gap between rich and poor,social pola rization,and spatial exploitation.Problems,so we need to focus on the value orientation of urban renewal as early as possible.Justice is one of the core values of building socialism with Chinese characteristics,and it is also the return of core values of urban renewal.However,at present,there is no agreement between the government,the developer,and the public entity on social justice in urban renewal.The role of the planner in this process should be the role of the benefit coordinator.Therefore,the position of upholding justice is basic requirements for planner..In view of this phenomenon,the paper summarized the evolution of Chinese and Western social justice theory at the philosophical and urban level and the social justice understanding in Chinese and Western urban renewal.It is based on the theory of spatial justice,right to the city and the theory of the just city.The theoretical framework for social justice suitable for the renewal of urban development in China has been drawn.At the same time,through the review of the development process and context of Shenzhen's urban renewal,the urban renewal of Shenzhen City was analyzed,evaluated and improved from three perspectives: spa tial justice,right to the city,and the just city.Based on this,it proposes a strategy of urban renewal oriented to social justice goals.Through theoretical analysis and practical research,the following general conclusions are drawn:(1)Through the improvement of the urban renewal planning system,to establishment a differentiated renewal policy,to improve standards for the development of floor area ratio and revised the system,and to promote the inclusiveness,established a market correction system to ensure the realization of spatial justice in urban renewal.(2)Protect the public's city rights by improving urban renewal legislation and improving the operability of public participation,and raise the rights of tenants to protect the public`s city rights.(3)Finally implementing the principle of equity through the implementation of affordable housing and reemployment in urban renewal,with multiple implementing entities,multiple participants,and diverse forms of renewal to enhance the diversity of urban renewal.
