China has entered an important synchronization stage of urbanization and quality,but with the continuous acceleration of the urbanization process,the widely distributed hilly cities in China are gradually homogenized and lost their landscape features.At the same time,in the hilly area of southern China with heavy rainfall and concentration,the extensive urban construction not only destroyed the terrain and vegetation,but also destroyed the local hydrological characteristics,and made the cities become the high incidence area of the rain and flood disaster.In order to solve the problems of ecological balance being destroyed and urban waterlogging,the state puts forward the idea of "sponge city".However,during the development of the "sponge city" theory,there are few studies on the characteristics of the southern hilly areas,and the main research objects are the cities in the plain areas.Based on this background,this paper combines with related theories and practical cases,studying the hilly urban green space system with the starting point of the city's new sponge rain flood management mode,and analyzes urban green space system planning method for southern hilly area's natural conditions in the concept of sponge city.As one of the important cavernous bodies in the construction of the sponge city,the urban green space system can make the city "elastic" to face the heavy rain,and alleviate the pressure caused by the drought and flood disaster to the city.Starting with the concept of "sponge city",the orderly planning of the urban green space system can not only play a role in improving the urban environment,but also has a certain demonstration effect on water storage,water purification,and effectively alleviating the severe urban waterlogging in the cities of the southern hilly regions.Specifically,the main contents of this paper are divided into three parts:The first part is introduction: clarify the main background,purpose and significance of the research topic,and research status and research methods.The second part is theoretical research: collate and summarize the research and practice of "sponge city",and comb the related theories of "sponge city" and urban green space system.This paper explores the planning method of green space system that fits the ecological conditions and environment of hilly cities in southern Chinafrom the perspective of "sponge city".The third part is practical exploration: on the basis of the analysis and research,combining with examples,this paper summarizes and analyzes the influence of the planning method and construction strategy of the sponge city on the structure and function of the urban green space system based on the natural conditions of the Southern Hills.It also put forward to the thoughts and suggestions for hilly urban green space system planning-based on the concept of "city" sponge,protect the ecology and construct urban green space and urban space to achieve the coordinating and unifying between ecology and artificial environment.
