With the rapid development of the automotive industry and roads,the speed of vehicles has also been greatly improved.As the only component of the automobile and the ground,the increase in the speed of vehicles raises higher requirements for the performance of tires.Tires are safe guards for vehicles.Tire roundness and other quality characteristics affect the safety and comfort of the vehicle.Historically,automakers at home and abroad have put forward industry-wide testing guidelines for the performance of tires,affecting the unbalanced and even properties of tires,and the response has been used to detect the roundness and imbalance of tires.When the car is driven at high speed,any slight unevenness of the tire will generate a lot of vibration and even cause traffic accidents.Therefore,it is of great significance in application to detect the uniform quality of the tire and improve the excellent performance of the tire.This article is based on the inspection of the tire's appearance surface in the"roundness of tire on-line detection system" independently researched and developed by the research group and summarizing the following contents:1.In the analysis of the shortcomings of the tire profile detection methods at home and abroad,the layout of the mechanical structure and the overall plan of the detection system are planned.The hardware system is built,the software design is aided,and the data collection and processing are finally obtained.2.At the low-pass filter processing level of the acquired data,the FIR digital filter designed based on the Blackman window function,frequency sampling method,and Chebyshev corrugation approach is applied to the subsequent data processing of the tire out-of-roundness detection system.The filter processing results highlight the superiority of the Blackman window function.3.The reasonable treatment method is given for the interference of rubber surfaces and foreign objects on the surface of the tire.4.Perform smoothing and fitting processing on the data based on the five-point and three-point method,extract the envelope and remove the interference information contained in the data,solve the accurate out-of-roundness information,and improve the repeatability and precision of data detection.5.Based on the combination of tire dynamic balance detection quantity calibration idea and out-of-roundness detection method,it is proposed to calibrate the out-of-roundness detection of the tire after calibration of the dynamic balance,and to isolate the spindle eccentricity error and installation in the mechanical detection system.Eccentricity errors,etc.,have great significance for improving the detection accuracy.6.Completed equipment commissioning and related test experiments,collected data on site and processed it,achieved tire out-of-roundness detection system performance indicators,verified the correctness of ideas,improved the accuracy of subsequent data processing,and improved the performance of the detection system.
