A Study On The Application Technology Of Trinidad Lake Asphalt In Road Construction

With the rapid progress of economy and the continuous development of technology in our country,the demands for the quality of highway become higher and higher.For the expressway network formation,the road traffic flow and the proportion of overrun and overloaded vehicles increase steadily,the diseases of asphalt pavement are increasingly serious.For the special and excellent properties,Trinidad Lake Asphalt(TLA for short)including land bitumen and ash content has concerned by people.But the effects of land bitumen and ash content,especially the particular effects of ash content,haven't been fully recognized.Therefore,it studies the action mechanism and influence of ash to the performance of TLA Modified Asphalt in the paper.Through the mid-surface paving of Asphalt pavement construction on Shang-Bai Highway in Yingkou,it verificates and summarizes the pavement performance,the construction characteristics and technology of lake asphalt mixture,then it analyses the economic benefits,which offer the base for the application of lake asphalt in pavement engineering in Yingkou.It studied the gradation asphalt mixturecomposing from TLA modified asphalt,analysed the changing cause of mixture's volumetric parameter adding lake asphalt and put forward the requirement that suitable for the mixture's volumetric parameter in the paper.Trough the research of pavement performance,it will improve the heat and water stability with lake asphalt.And the mixing amount is bigger,the performance is better.With the analysis of the rutting and shearing results using Grey Relation Analysis,it shows that the contribution rate of asphalt binder and gradation to the mixture's heat performance is nearly the same.
