With the rapid development of the communication technology and automotive industry,vehicles are equipped with a variety of increasingly powerful on-board resources,such as computing,communication,storage and sensing resources.Therefore,it is natural to regard a vehicle as a "computers-on-wheels." However,these kind of rich on-board resources have not been fully utilized.It is more significant to make effective use of these resources.In order to solve this problem effectively,the concept of the vehicular cloud is put forward and has received extensive attention in recent years.The vehicular cloud constituted by gathering the under-utilized on-board resources on the road.In the process of vehicular cloud formation,because the vehicle itself has a certain degree of selfishness,such as providing less on-board resources and asking higher rewards,if there is no appropriate incentive mechanism to make effective use of on-board resources and distribute the vehicle rewards properly,it will reduce the network performance of the vehicular cloud.This paper studies and analyzes the related characteristics of vehicular cloud and the vehicle cooperation problem,and proposes an incentive mechanism towards vehicle cooperation of vehicular cloud,which aims to stimulate vehicles to participate in the formation of vehicle cloud and make full use of each vehicle's under-utilized on-board resources.This incentive mechanism uses the Stackelberg game model to model the interaction between the leader vehicle and the follower vehicles in the vehicular cloud.Moreover,the proposed incentive mechanism can let the utility value of the leader vehicle and the follower vehicles' both become maximum,limit the selfishness of the selfish vehicle to a certain degree,and reduce the influence on the performance of the vehicular cloud network.In addition,in order to ensure the completion rate of the vehicular cloud service's tasks,this paper focuses on the mobility of the vehicle,reanalyzes and discusses the incentive mechanism under the constraint of vehicle link delay,so that the on-board resources can still be effectively utilized under the link delay constraint.This can prove that the incentive mechanism has a certain degree of rationality.In order to verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed incentive mechanism,this paper uses NS3 and SUMO to simulation.The simulation results show that the proposed incentive mechanism can play a promoting role on the formation of vehicular cloud,have a good effect in limiting the vehicle's selfishness,and still complete the cloud service task better under the constraint of vehicle link delay.
