Research On The Interior Renovation Of Residence In Jiangnan Historical And Cultural Towns Is Based On The Principle Of Modular Design

The " Jiangnan historical and cultural famous town " in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces is a regional settlement,reflecting the important process of the local ethnic culture,regional characteristics,social composition,and economic development,as well as the local history,architecture,folk customs and the spatial pattern have been truly recorded.It is an important carrier of Jiangnan regional culture and protects these ancient towns,which is to protect the local cultural foundation.However,through the research of the author's project,it was discovered that many destructive factors have prompted the protection and renewal of the famous historical and cultural towns in the Jiangnan Water Town must be put on the agenda.What is important is that the lifestyle of residents in the ancient town is also changing.The original town's growth model has gradually become an obstacle to residents' pursuit of modern life.As an important part of settlements,residential buildings have been unable to meet the needs of modern life in terms of functions,spatial patterns,and various equipments and facilities.Therefore,based on the maintenance of the original style and pattern,modularity is used as a design method and update.The method explores the duality of its function and performance in order to improve the quality of residents' residence and thus protect the entire settlement,so that the ancient town can be protected and promoted in development.The paper is divided into the following five parts :The first part describes the problems faced to residential houses in the south of the Yangtze River in the context of urbanization.It also exemplifies and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the current domestic and international reconstruction of residential blocks in the historic neighborhoods,and compares existing protection update cases and methods to determine the current situation.The renewal of the residential houses of historical and cultural towns in south of the Yangtze River drew the research significance of the thesis.The second part: through actual investigations,analyzed the status quo and defects of residential towns in the ancient towns of the south of the Yangtze River,summed up and concluded,and confirmed the research direction;Part III: Introduction of the principle and method of modular design and its application advantages are analyzed.The feasibility of the modular principle in the internal renewal of the famous historical and cultural towns in the south of the Yangtze River is analyzed,and the key points and design ideas of the modular design are proposed.The fourth part: The corresponding modularization design and reconstruction strategy was proposed in three aspects: structure,main function space and auxiliary function space.In Zhenze ancient towns,representative residential dwelling plans were selected to conduct exemplary monomer design.The fifth part is the epilogue.It drew the conclusion of the research content and opinions and put forward innovation and deficiency of the research.It points out what exploration should be done in the further research.
