An Analysis Of The Trade Potential Of Chinese Construction Machinery Export In The 10 Countries Of ASEAN Under The Background Of "One Belt And One Road"

Since China's "Belt and Road" announced,it has caused strong repercussions all over the world.The ASEAN 10 is an important strategic area of the "Belt and Road"and the first important hub of the maritime Silk Road economic belt.Construction machinery products are necessary for the national infrastructure construction along the "Belt and Road",so it is very important to study the trade potential of China's construction machinery products export to the 10 ASEAN countries under the background of the "Belt and Road".Firstly,the paper analyzes the factors that influence the trade potential of China's construction machinery export to 10 ASEAN countries from the theory level,Based on this,the paper analyzes the trade potential of the Belt and Road to affect the scale and cost of China's construction machinery export to the 10 ASEAN countries through financing channels,raising the level of infrastructure and weakening the non-tariff barriers.Then it analyzes the trade potential of China's construction machinery products to the 10 ASEAN countries,It is considered that the "Belt and Road" will enhance the trade potential of China's construction machinery products exported to the ten ASEAN countries.Secondly,at the empirical level,by constructing an extended gravity model,the influencing factors of China's construction machinery products export to the ten ASEAN countries are studied,The specific regression equation is obtained and the estimated export amount is obtained by the regression equation.The ratio of the estimated export amount to the actual export amount is used as an indicator to estimate the export trade potential,By calculating the export trade potential before and after "Belt and Road",we can see that "Belt and Road" can enhance the trade potential of China's construction machinery products to ASEAN 10 countries.Finally,the conclusions and recommendations are given on how to translate the trade potential of China's construction machinery products to the ten ASEAN countries under the background of the "Belt and Road" into actual trade flows.The results show:First,the bilateral gross domestic product,the bilateral domestic population and the quality of port infrastructure in the 10 ASEAN countries are all positively and significantly affected by the quantity of construction machinery exported from China to ASEAN.The geographical distance between China and the 10 ASEAN countries,the real exchange rate of RMB against the currencies of the ASEAN countries,the import customs burden of the 10 ASEAN countries are inversely proportional to the amount of construction machinery products exported by China to the ASEAN countries.Second,China's export potential value of construction machinery products to the 10 ASEAN countries is between 0.8 and 1.2,It shows that there is still much room for China to expand the export trade of construction machinery products from 10 ASEAN countries.China's export of construction machinery products to ASEAN countries has potential trade to be explored.Third,after the "Belt and Road",the trade potential of China's construction machinery exports to the 10 ASEAN countries is greater than that of the 10 countries before the"Belt and Road" countries,the trade potential of China's construction machinery exports to the 10 ASEAN countries,It shows that the "Belt and Road" is promoting the trade potential of China's construction machinery products export to 10 ASEAN countries.
