In this age of information and intelligence,how to effectively use information data to understand and solve traffic problems has become the research direction of many scholars.The rapid development of the city economy makes the residents' travel demand more and more diversified.As an important part of the urban transportation system,taxis take the responsibility of solving the urban residents' travel demand.Rainfall,as a very common weather condition,has a real impact on the balance between taxi supply and demand.Therefore,the analysis of taxi operating conditions in the rainfall situation is very useful to understand the demand for taxi travel and the impact of rain on taxi operation.Under this background,combined with the data of taxi GPS data,meteorological data and taxi driver's intention questionnaire survey data,this paper makes a thorough research and Analysis on the problem,and explores the actual impact of rain on taxi operation,and puts forward some suggestions to help taxi management and dispatch in the case of rain.First of all,starting from the research topic,we deeply understand the domestic and foreign research results based on two aspects of the research on taxi GPS data and the traffic state research under bad weather.The investigation of taxi drivers' driving intention in the case of rainfall is carried out,and the effect of rainfall on taxi operation is preliminarily analyzed.Based on this,the research ideas and methods of this paper are determined.Secondly,Python,Oracle and ArcGIS tools are used to preprocess the data of taxi GPS and rainfall,including the extraction of trip,data cleaning,interpolation,map matching and so on.Thirdly,based on the GPS data and rainfall data,the influence of rainfall on average speed and free flow speed of taxi is analyzed.A regression model was established to quantify the relationship between rainfall and average travel speed reduction.The model shows that under the condition of light rain,moderate rain,heavy rain and heavy rain,the average journey speed decreases by 0%-5.86%,5.86%-7.31%,7.31%-8.95%and 8.95%-10.06%respectively.The results show that the free flow velocity of urban expressway and main road has great influence on the free flow velocity of urban expressway and main road,and the free flow velocity has no significant influence on the sub dry road.Finally,a number of Logistic models are established based on intention survey data.The model shows that the taxi driver's intention to travel has a significant relationship with the characteristics of its personal attributes and the minimum rainfall that has been considered to have an impact.GPS and rainfall data were used to validate the model.It is found that the traffic volume of heavy rainfall is obviously reduced,the efficiency of single passenger car is obviously improved,and the air driving rate is obviously lower than that of non rainfall day(especially in the case of the air driving rate in the case of 50%-60%).Based on the results,several suggestions for taxi operation organization are put forward to facilitate management departments to implement effective management schemes under rainfall conditions.
