With the rapid development of high-speed railway in China,lots of EMU are running,and the safty of which causes public concern.In high speed running state,any minor troubles may lead to major accidents.The pantograph and the running gear,as the most important units of the EMU,the state monitoring,the maintenance quality and abnormal alarm information of which are particularly important.This paper designs and realizes the trouble detection system of the pantograph and running gear,provides the functions:the devices management and monitoring,the data statistics and analysis,the three-dimensional display,the automatic trouble detection and alarm,which helps the management and maintenance personnels and ensures the EMU run in safety.The system's development technology not only include a lot of software framwork technologies,for example,the MFC,Spring,Mybatis and ThriftRPC etc,but also uses the data acquisition methods of industrial camera and triplex scanner and integrates numbers of algorithms and,such as,the vehicle identification algorithm,3D point cloud registration algorithm,laser distance measuring algorithm and template matching algorithm etc.These technologies and algorithms greatly improve the rate of trouble detecting,increase system scalability and eliminates system coupling.The system mainly includes modules:data acquisition,device management and monitoring,trouble detection and alarm,statistical analysis and display.The author design and implement the following modules independently.The data acquisition client module implements those functions:grab data from the pantograph and running gear unit with the help of industrial camera and triplex scanner,process data,upload data and call the detection interface.Trouble identification and Alarm module implements those functions:receive the data from pantograph and running gear acquisition clients,analyse and compute the pantograph data,match the EMU's templates,analyse troubles used in sift's algorithm,image mosaic,display data,trouble alarming and call maintenance interface.Statistical analysis and Display module implements those functions:statistical analysis of the historical detection data,analyse the trouble characters about the EMU,generate the statistical graph,print the graph,export data,display the three-dimensional of pantograph laser and the running gear's wide-area picture.Management and Monitoring module is convenient to administrators,who could configure the backup database,manage the master and slave databases,authorize user,add and delete users,monitor devices status,search,watch and download the videos of the EMU's entrances.After numerous tests at the experimental base,the system has already been installed and applied in the section of the Lanzhou High-Speed Railway.It achieved the desired design goals,that improve the efficiency of the detection,and increase the recognition rate.
