Research On Layout Method Of Urban Community Bus Routes

The traffic problems existing in the cities are becoming more and more serious.Only by vigorously developing public transport can we fundamentally solve these problems.Nowadays,many cities have been developing urban rail transit actively,and it is treated as the transportation channel of passenger flow.However,it can not attract the passengers in all the fields.In order to strengthen the function of urban rail transit,it is necessary to depend on the development of the public ground transportation,especially the development of the feeder bus for connecting the rail traffic.And the feeder bus will help rail transit to achieve speedy passenger flow distribution.Based on above,this paper took the branch line public transport and the rail transit connection as the breakthrough point,and studied the methods of community bus route layout.The main content and research work of this paper are displayed as follows:(1)The concept,characteristics and classification of community bus were introduced in detail.Then,the similarities and differences of community bus and traditional bus were summarized and compared.And the factors affecting the layout of community bus routes were summarized.(2)Characteristics of passenger flow demand for community bus were analyzed in two aspects such as service objects and travel purpose.And the passenger flow characteristics of community bus were further analyzed according to the characteristics of passenger traffic.Then,the time distribution,space distribution and the line characteristics of community buses were analyzed in three aspects such as line length,average distance and traffic connection.Finally,the community bus routes layout was determined on the basis of meeting the demand of commuting transfers.(3)The principle of the layout of community bus's routes and the connection form between community bus and large volume traffic such as the subway,were proposed.The specific process of the layout of the bus route were summed up.Then the areas of the low bus service capacity were determined which are the priority areas.Finally,the xiangshan area was determined as the example area for layout of community bus's routes.(4)Based on the characteristics of community buses,the principle of setting up community bus routes was proposed,and a community bus route layout model that conforms to the community bus routes and passenger flow characteristics was constructed.The model integrated the lowest bus operating costs and the lowest passenger waiting costs,turning them into The total cost of deploying the community bus routes is the lowest,taking into account the length limit of the community bus lines,the restrictions on the fleet size,and the restrictions on route capacity.Afterwards,a solution based on artificial bee colony algorithm was proposed and the algorithm flow was designed.Then the model and algorithm were verified by design examples.Finally,by comparing the artificial bee colony algorithm with the genetic algorithm,the algorithm's solving efficiency and solution quality are verified.The results of the example show that the artificial bee colony algorithm can quickly and efficiently solve the reasonable community bus route,and proves the effectiveness and practicability of the model algorithm.(5)Xiangshan area where is low service capacity of bus network taken as an example to verified the model and algorithm form this paper.The results show that the model and algorithm can obtain reasonable feasible solutions and have practical value.
