With the transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry and the promotion of smart manufacturing,communication and networking between devices has become an important part of this.At present,CNC machine tools occupy an important position in the manufacturing industry.The interconnection and communication between CNC systems determines the monitoring of production processes,the automatic management of production tasks,and the efficient maintenance of production equipment.At the same time,it is at the bottom of the enterprise network architecture,through the upper layer.The integration of management systems(MES,ERP,etc.)to achieve true information integration and networked product design and manufacturing has important implications for the digital production of the factory.Due to the current problems of heterogeneous control systems and inconsistent data specifications on the shop floor equipment,it is difficult to integrate the workshop communication network.At the same time,there is a lack of unified communication standards between the field device layer and the process management layer,and there are many different protocol standards.Users all need to separately develop drivers to access data and cause duplication of effort;and monitoring systems are generally based on customized production R&D,resulting in poor generality and scalability.Therefore,a highly efficient and versatile workshop heterogeneous system integration method becomes an urgent need for enterprises.At the same time,unified standards should be defined between different information layers in order to achieve efficient information integrated communication between layers.Therefore,this dissertation studies MTConnect-based workshop heterogeneous network integration method.Firstly,it describes the research status of data collection methods and heterogeneous system monitoring technologies in domestic and foreign numerical control systems.Then it builds a production monitoring system based on MTConnect protocol,and adopts a standardized information model.The equipment information is described in a uniform format,which allows information to flow freely in the workshop.In order to realize the rapid standardization and integration of heterogeneous systems,a flexible adapter with high efficiency and high extensibility was studied to facilitate data acquisition and communication protocol conversion for different devices,and a flexible adapter application strategy was implemented for different communication protocols.the study.Finally,a method was applied to the manufacturing plant of an automotive company.A flexible adapter was used to connect the equipment.The MTConnect agent,client,and database were developed to form a complete production monitoring system.The actual production data was compared with the data collected by the monitoring system through the workshop.The result proves that the system can collect equipment information efficiently and accurately and confirms the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.
