The ancient and famous trees are precious legacy that nature has left for human beings.It is of great value in building a modern society of ecological civilization.The years of vicissitudes of ancient and famous trees are important witnesses to the historical changes of human beings,and are important references for the construction of the current ecological civilization.The evaluation and research on the value of ancient and famous landscapes are of great significance for the protection of ancient and famous trees and ecotourism.This paper is mainly divided into two parts.The first part contains a survey and statistics of ancient and rare trees in the DaXiong Mountain National Forest Park,where a total of 423 ancient and rare trees are included into the survey in the entire scenic area and 124 ancient tree communities are divided,containing a total number of 16,386 ancient and rare trees.The second part is the data analysis on the ancient and rare trees in the scenic area and landscape evaluation based on the survey.The landscape evaluation study is also divided into two parts.?the landscape evaluation of single ancient and rare tree,where the modified program expert method is adopted to develope six first-level standards and 25 second-level standards for landscape evaluation studies of 250 ancient and rare trees in key areas along the scenic tourist routes.?Landscape assessment of ancient tree communities.Based on the data of 124 ancient tree communities in the panoramic area,a representative sample of 56 ancient tree communities was selected.60 landscape and Environmental Art Design students were contacted to assess the landscape beauty through the PPT indoor evaluation method.The beauty degree formula SBEn =(Zn-Zi)×100 is used to obtain the specific beauty values of 56 ancient tree plots.On this basis,the quantitative assessment of the SD values of landscape elements is made and through consultation with experts,6 practitioners of gardening-related industries to establish 10 pairs of adjectives of landscape elements,namely,tree morphology,tree growth,branch views,plant seasonality,fullness of the canopy,understory vegetation coverage,light perception,layering,sight openness and color richness.The 20 garden professional experts and practitioners who did not participate in the scenic beauty evaluation scored 56 ancient tree community plots according to the landscape element adjective pairs,calculated the SD value of the landscape elements of each ancient tree plot,and then used SBE.The beauty value is the dependent variable,and the landscape element quantification value is an independent variable.SPSS software is used for data analysis,and BACKWARD(remove backward variable method)is used for calculation.The results show that of all 10 landscape elements,the Layering is first removed,and then the understory vegetation coverage,plant seasonality,tree morphology,tree growth and sight openness were respectively excluded.At last,branch views,fullness of the canopylight perception and color richness constitute the optimal model combination,and the beauty model is calculated by SPSS analysis is:Y=-13.148+9.38X3+10.872X5+16.5X7+8.7X10Through the survey on ancient and rare trees and landscape analysis in in the Daxiong Mountain National Forest Park,it is possbile to attract more attention form relevant government departments and the public on ancient and rare trees,which is of great significance to the protection of ancient and will make efforts to protect green hills and build an ecologically civilized society.
