Study On Time-changing Landscape Trait Of Landscape Trees In Shanghai

Based on the site investigation and references the common landscape tree resources in Shanghai area . Then special attention was paid on their landscape change characteristics along with time sequence in one year. And the insufficiency was also analysed. The aim of this research is to enrich landscape timing diversity of lansccape plants and the color in Shanghai open greening space, furthermore, to build a colorful, beatiful plants landscape.Based on the site investigation and references review, the common landscape tree resources in Shanghai area were identified firstly. The result showed that there were 199 common tree species in Shanghai totally, Which distributed in 67 families, 129 genius. Among those resources, there were 123 species of arbors, 56 species of shrubs and 20 species vines or bamboos.All trees were categorized by their different ornamental characteristics, such as flowers, leaves, and fruits. According to the ornamental time period, the landscape viewing timetables of these trees were establised. The results showed that there were trees with ornamental flowers in every month, particularly from April to June, and colorful leaves in every month, particularly from November to December. However, there were few trees with ornamental fruits and trunks.Using Shannon-Weiner and Simpson's index, the diversity of landscape change along timing sequence of 199 tree species was analysed in this paper. The results showed that the best diversity was from January to February and from Augus to October. But the Low diversity were from March to July and November to December. The diversity of viewing characteristics of the pupils in turn were ranked foliage - flower- fruit.Base on above results, some suggestions of were gave the insufficiency on the time-changing landscape in Shanghai,A design practice was done on the basis of above results in order to provide a reference for its potential application.
