Collapsible loess is widely distributed in the central and western parts of China.In the area of engineering construction,we need to improve the loess to avoid the occurrence of engineering quality accidents,so as to enhance the bearing capacity of the foundation for stress and ensure the stability performance.In recent years,scholars at home and abroad for lime flyash improved ioess physical and mechanical properties have been extensively studied,these studies are applied to theoretical results in practical construction,and lime fly ash loess in this kind of plane strain problems such as foundation,deep foundation pit wall,dam and road base and the retaining wall But ilttle studied,therefore,carried out under plane strain condition on mechanical strength of lime fly ash loess is very necessary.This article on the Xi'an bailu plain loess mixed with different proportions of lime and fly ash were improved,and the plane strain apparatus through the transformation of the axial loading test on ioess strength and deformation properties of the modified,The results of the study are as follows:(1)With the increase of Time content in the improved loess,the optimum moisture content increased and the maximum dry density decreased·(2)Different water content of lime fly ash loess improved rate,different mixing ratio and different consolidation stress of plane strain test,results show that when ratio of consolidation stress and constant with decreasing water content value,the strength of soil increases;When the water content and consolidation stress and fly ash content,with lime content increases,the strength of soil increases;When the water content and the ratio is constant,with the consolidation stress increase the strength of soil increases.(3)Along with the increase of the main stress difference of soil,the stronger the strength of lime fly ash to improve the loess.The curves of two ash loess high lime content is gradually hardening to softening,lime flyash Improved Loess stress-strain curve,peak strain value of about 3%near the peak intensity decreased after softening curve,so the lime content should not be too high,prone to brittle failure.The optimal lime content is 10%-15%.(4)The shear strength parameters of lime fly ash improved loess will change with the change of initial conditions.The results show that with the increase of water content co in soil,cohesion c and internal friction angle ? will decrease.When the lime content in soil sample increases,its cohesion c will increase and internal friction angle ? will slightly increase.
