Constructing a strong power grid is an important deployment to achieve sustainable energy development in China.DC switches which are high voltage levels,large breaking capacity,and high-tech parameters are becoming the control and protection equipment.DC switches increasingly become control and protection devices for safe,reliable,and stable operation of DC power distribution systems.The vacuum circuit breaker is one of the basic equipment for constructing an electric grid.The electrical life and mechanical life of the vacuum circuit breaker directly affect the operating performance of the electric power system and the whole life cycle operation and maintenance.The driving energy required for the operation of the vacuum circuit breaker is derived from its operating mechanism.Its operating performance directly affects the movement characteristics and mechanical reliability of the switching system.The electromagnetic repulsion mechanism of the DC vacuum circuit breaker has the characteristics of quicker tripping operation speed,smaller mechanism,and shorter mechanical delay than the traditional operating mechanism,and it can realize fast and reliable switching operation.In this paper,the body of electromagnetic repulsion mechanism is designed by finite element numerical analysis method,and the factors influencing the mechanical characteristics of the electromagnetic repulsion mechanism are quantitatively analyzed to realize the modeling and numerical value of the fast repulsion mechanism ontology system for DC vacuum circuit breaker in distribution system.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of the electromagnetic repulsion mechanism and the repulsive mechanism pulse output characteristics and the vacuum switch reaction force,An electromagnetic circuit breaker for DC vacuum circuit breakers is proposed to achieve the good match between the output characteristics and the switch load characteristics while ensuring the matching of the output characteristics and the reaction force characteristics.The permanent magnet structure of the electromagnetic repulsion mechanism is adopted,which is a closing and maintaining device to ensure that the driving unit and the holding device are organically coordinated.The electromagnetic repulsion mechanism is mainly used,and the permanent magnet mechanism is supplemented to achieve a reliable breaking of the circuit breaker.The mathematical model of the electromagnetic repulsion actuator for DC vacuum circuit breaker was established.The finite element method was used to design and optimize the structural parameters of the mechanism body.The material,measurement,size and excitation parameters of the repulsion disk that affect the mechanical characteristics of the mechanism were simulated and calculated.With the comparison and analysis,the mechanical characteristic curves are obtained.Based on the finite element modeling analysis,numerical simulation of 10 kV/5 kA mechanical DC vacuum circuit breaker are performed.Meanwhile,experiment of data are compared and analyzed to verify the feasibility of the design of the mechanism.
