| Because of its simple transportation structure and flexible and convenient operation,screw conveyor plays an important role in the transportation process of metallurgical and architectural industries.In the process of transportation,the conveying performance of the screw conveyor has always been the focus of attention.As the key component of the screw conveyor,in the process of conveying material,the key component of the screw conveyer is friction and collision with the material particles.Therefore,the wear performance of the screw body is also worthy of attention and attention in the process of conveying the material.In this paper,screw conveyor is taken as the research object,and the particle velocity of screw conveying material is taken as the research object.The unit mass flow rate and power consumption of the conveyed material are used as the evaluation index of the transportation performance,and the discrete element method is used as the theoretical basis.The discrete element analysis software EDEM is used as the research tool to study the change law of the conveying speed and the unit mass flow rate in the whole conveying process,and the analysis is with the screw conveyor.The influence of physical factors(speed,filling rate)and geometric factors(pitch and inclination angle)on conveying performance of screw conveyor is discussed.The analysis results show that with the increase of the pitch,filling rate and inclination angle of the screw conveyor,it has little effect on the velocity of the conveyer particle,but with the increase of the screw speed,the velocity of particle transport gradually increases.With the increase of the pitch,filling rate and screw speed of the screw conveyor,the unit mass flow rate is also increasing gradually.However,the increase of the helical inclination angle does not increase the unit mass flow rate,and the power consumption increases with the increase of pitch,filling rate,screw speed and angle.So by improving the screw speed,increasing the pitch and increasing the material filling rate to improve the transmission of the screw conveyor,but at the same time,it will also make the success rate too much consumption,and the change of the dip angle can not change the transmission performance,only cause the power loss.In the analysis of the wear properties of the screw body,using the screw body as the research object,using the wear theory as the theoretical basis,the discrete element analysis software EDEM is used as an auxiliary analysis tool,and the maximum wear depth and the average wear depth of the screw body are used as the evaluation index of the evaluation of wear and tear.The influence of the main factors(rotational speed,filling rate,pitch and inclination angle)on the wear of the screw body in the transport process of the particles is studied.The research shows that the most serious wear in the transport process is located on the outer edge of screw blade,and with the decrease of the radial distance,the wear is gradually reduced,and the wear of the screw blade and the screw shaft is the least.In the process of transportation,the maximum wear depth and average wear depth of the screw body also increased with time,and the maximum wear depth and average wear depth of the screw conveyor increased with the speed of the screw body,the filling rate and the pitch of the screw,and the wear and tear when the screw angle changed.The position of the maximum wear is on the outer edge of the screw blade and the screw axis.The minimum wear is still at the intersection of the blade and the screw shaft.With the change of the inclination angle of the screw conveyor,the maximum wear depth and the average wear depth are 15 degrees ~30 degrees,and the wear is relatively small at 0 and 45 degrees. |
