Centralized Traffic Control System(CTC)is widely used in train operation control.Taking into overall consideration of China's situation and learning from the experience of foreign train scheduling,China's decentralized self-discipline Central Traffic Control System is thus developed.The decentralized self-discipline is centered on information concentration and control decentralization,giving consideration to the command and control of train operations and shunting operations.The train scheduling is commanded by CTC Center Subsystem,an important part of CTC system,with the editing and releasing of train operation plans,the management of scheduling commands,the management of shunting operations as well as the pooling and monitoring of station information implemented in functionality.A summary and an analysis of the functions and significance of the CTC system in the train operation as well as an overview on the present research status of the Centralized Traffic Control(CTC)system at home and abroad are conducted,an introduction to the simulation system background of the train operation control system applied to the the Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway is given,and a definition of the function of the CTC Center Subsystem therein is made in the thesis.The simulation system is designed based on the CTCS-3 train operation control system of the Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway Line,implementing the CTC Center Subsystem for passenger railway lines.Five comparatively larger railway stations along the Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway line are selected for simulation,i.e.Beijing Nan Railway Station,Jinan Xi Railway Station,Xuzhou Dong Railway Station,Nanjing Nan Railway Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.Next,a demand analysis of the main structure of the CTC Center Subsystem is conducted in the thesis and a system design is accordingly carried out in accordance with the demand analysis,classifying the functions of the CTC Center Subsystem as the Shift Changing Module,the Diagram Drawing Module,the Operation Plan Module,the Construction Plan Module,the Dispatching Order Module,the Station Monitoring Module,the Assistant Scheduling Module,the Network Module and the Database Module.And then a simulation function design of the central parts of the CTC system module by module is followed based on the demand analysis,and the main functions of the CTC Center Subsystem are thus implemented by the software,which is applied to the teaching of the railway signaling.The simulation design in the thesis is implemented by the application of the C#Programming Language,the MySQL Database Management System and the Socket Communication technology based on the TCP/IP protocol to have the designed functions achieved and the performances of the main functions of the simulation system tested to verify its utility i.e.the train route selecting,the operation planning,the construction plan identifying,the dispatching command giving and the temporary schedule making.
