In recent years,with the rapid development of China's auto industry,the car has gradually spread into people's lives,becoming the most convenient means of transportation.In order to ensure the safe driving of the car,national standards stipulate the detection of vehicle handling stability.The steering stability of the vehicle is inextricably linked with the steering force and free angle of the steering wheel.Accurately measuring the steering force and the free angle of the steering wheel is the basis for ensuring the safe driving of the vehicle.Therefore,on the basis of fully studying the steering force and free-angle measurement methods,a portable steering wheel intelligent detector is designed based on the C8051F047 single-chip microcomputer,Bluetooth wireless communication and Android client software to measure the steering wheel steering force and free rotation angle.This thesis first analyzes the research background,significance and status quo of the steering wheel detection,determines the measurement methods of the steering wheel steering force and free rotation angle,and proposes the overall design of the detector.The free rotation angle is measured by using the relationship between the three-axis components of the triaxial acceleration sensor and the rotation angle,the operation is simple,and the limitation of the installation position of the detector on the steering wheel is broken.The steering force is measured in the form of a Wheatstone bridge formed by a resistive strain gauge to meet the requirements of flexible design,low cost,and low power consumption.The data acquisition of the whole system is realized by the lower hardware and software system.The design of the hardware system includes the connection of the single-chip microcomputer and the three-axis accelerometer MMA8452 and the resistance strain-type pressure sensor,as well as peripheral auxiliary circuits(power module,memory module and signal conditioning module,etc.).The design of the software system includes initialization operations of various modules,data acquisition subroutines,and communication protocol settings.The acquired data is transmitted to the monitor via Bluetooth wirelessly after being processed by the single-chip microcomputer and fed back to the user.This solves the problem of data transmission difficulties caused by wiring.Finally,this article uses the Android mobile phone as the monitor,Android studio3.0 as the development environment,and designs the Android client application program to separate the detector from the monitor,which solves the problem that the monitor follows the detector rotation and the data is inconvenient to view.In order to ensure the accuracy of the instrument,the entire system was tested.The results show that the vehicle steering wheel intelligent detector designed in this thesis is simple in operation and accurate in data,and satisfies the requirements of on-site inspection of steering force and free rotation angle.
