The insulation wall has been widely used since its application.Howeve r,the layer of insulation and decoration has fall off frequently,which has caused hidden dangers to the safety of pedestrians.Therefore,the study on the safety of the use of insulation wall has been a great urgency.Based on the investigation of the safety issues in the use of external walls in Changsha area,the paper has summed up two major factors which affects the safety of the insulation wall by the finite element analysis method.In the meanwhile,the evaluation of the safety use of the insulation wall has been conducted.This paper mainly includes the followings:(1)The wall surface temperature has been simulated by FLUENT and measured in extreme high temperature environment in Changsha,The results show that the simulated value is similar to the measured value,it is feasible to simulate the surface temperature of the external wall by Fluent.(2)Using ANSYS to analyze the effect of extreme temperature on the performance of insulating and non-insulated walls.The results show that the deformation and stress are both large under extreme temperature.Therefore,this paper proposes a prefabricated sandwich wall reinforced by composite resin ester.which is better than the external thermal insulation wall in insulation performance.(3)Selecting the non-insulated wall and the external thermal insulation wall as the research object,deduceing the effective modulus calculation formula of the shrinkage and creep of the concrete ANSYS was used to analyze the performance of wall under the effect of shrinkage and creep of concrete.The results show that the ratio of reinforcement and the thickness of mortar are the main factors of the deformation and stress of ceramic tile;when the cross section of the middle part of the column is larger,construction deviation has the greatest effect on the deformation performance of external thermal insulation wall tiles.(4)The ceramic tile of Insulation wall will drift under the effect of shrinkage and creep of concrete.In general,lateral drift value is larger than the distance between the road to the wall.(5)The reliability and safety of the insulation wall during its use has been evaluated.The probability that ceramic tiles fall off and cause death in the peak period of crowd travel is greater than the tolerable individual life risk criterion proposed in this paper.This probability can be deceased by reducing th e construction deviation and increasing the distance from the road to the wall.
