Study On The Green Experience Of Traditional Residential Buildings In The Loess Plateau

The green experience of traditional dwellings is the gems of wisdom summed up by the laboring people in production practice in a long history.Chinese traditional architecture is rooted in traditional culture,rich in ideological roots and cultural connotations.In the overall context of Chinese's traditional culture of “act according to circumstances,and unity of heaven and man ”,the green experience of traditional dwellings has a positive and far-reaching significance toward the ecological nature and sustainability of green design in modern architectures.In addition,with the development of urbanization and the advancement of modernization,the deteriorating ecological environment and declining resource carrying capacity are objective facts.Tapping and summing up the wisdom to adapt to the environment and resources conservation,and promoting the use of green experience in the innovation of modern architectural design is considered as one of the important ways to achieve the sustainable development of human settlement,and it is also one of the driving forces for the vigorous development of the construction industry.Meanwhile,inheriting and carrying forward the traditional construction techniques and architectural features accumulated also have positive significance for the manifestation of urban localization characteristics.In order to make the economic and social benefits brought about by the green experience of the traditional dwellings be recognized,and promote the inheritance and development of green culture in different regions in modern construction design,it is necessary to summarize and quantify the green experience of traditional architecture.Through scientific analysis,the green experience of traditional dwellings is refined so as to give traditional dwellings new vitality and guide the modern architectural green design in the background of the extensive use of new materials and technologies.This paper,as the pre-research of the entire subject,takes the traditional dwellings on the Loess Plateau as studying object,and tries to analyze the green experience contained in the envelope structure of adobe dwellings by focusing on the perspective of climatic conditions.This article consists of five chapters.The first chapter is introduction.It introduces the origin and background of the study,and defines related concepts.Based on this,it outlines the relevant academic research results at home and abroad,and elaborates the research purpose and methods of this article.The second chapter is about the general situation of the Loess Plateau and itstraditional dwelling environment.The geography,climate,ecology and culture of the Loess Plateau are summarized and the characteristics of settlement under the influence of external conditions on the Loess Plateau are discussed.The third chapter is about the types of traditional adobe dwellings and their architectural forms on the Loess Plateau.The traditional dwellings on the Loess Plateau region are classified;and then the three types of the residential dwellings,cave dwellings and confined dwellings on the Loess Plateau are sorted out from the perspective of construction mode and form.It also focuses on the envelope structure of residential dwellings on the Loess Plateau.The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of the envelope structure of adobe dwellings under the perspective of thermal performance,and Shanxi Province is taken as an example.The envelope structure of traditional adobe dwellings on the Loess Plateau is selected as the research object,and the thermal performance of the construction methods of the dwellings on the Loess Plateau is combed.In addition,through computer simulations,the difference in thermal performance reflected by the types of adobe dwellings and the envelope structure under different climatic conditions is scientifically analyzed,and the green experience contained in dwelling construction is also summarized.The fifth chapter is about the case demonstration of the green experience regarding traditional adobe dwellings on the Loess Plateau.Based on the results of field surveys from Baishe Village of Sanyuan County and Nihegou Village of Jiaxian County,this paper analyzes and demonstrates the green experience of the envelope structure of traditional dwellings via computer simulation.The last part is the conclusion and prospect.It summarizes the research contents of the previous five chapters,and looks forward to the research direction and content on the green experience of traditional dwellings on the Loess Plateau.
